Chemotherapy
Built by the Beebe brothers themselves,
this small structure was the birthplace
of Beebe Hospital. Drs. James and
Richard constructed the hospital on
cement blocks, and inside its walls
was just enough space for two patient
rooms and an office. The brothers
were joined by a staff of two nurses
and Dr. James Beebe’s wife Elsie, who
did all the cooking for the hospital.
Benjamin F. and Helen M.
Shaw were benevolent
gift-givers to the hospital
who donated two wings.
The first, which was completed in 1921, raised the
bed capacity to 35. The
Shaws donated another
wing in 1927 in memory
of their daughter, Natalie
Townsend Shaw. The second wing brought the
total bed capacity to 60.
The five-story Lynch
Wing, started in 1962
as a two-story building and expanded by 1970,
was the first major addition to Beebe in 25 years.
When it was first constructed, it was considered
by hospital authorities to be one of the most
modern hospital facilities in the region.
Beebe offers chemotherapy

Thompson Wing
Beebe Hospital’s solarium was one of the many
overused facilities that received a reprieve with
the construction of the four-story Thompson Wing
in the mid 1930s. The new structure upgraded the
capacity for more patients, with six new rooms,
and provided new nursing quarters, operating
facilities, and a kitchen and dining room.

Beebe
Healthcare
More Than a Hospital
Beebe Medical Center has changed its name
to Beebe Healthcare, reflecting the expansive
community health system that it has become.
“Beebe has been more than a stand-alone,
acute-care hospital for many years,” says
Jeffrey M. Fried, FACHE, President and CEO
of the now Beebe Healthcare. “For decades,
Beebe has provided outpatient services in
many locations, besides the hospital in Lewes.
Beebe Home Health Agency has provided
care to people throughout southern Delaware
since 1985. And our network of physicians
serves patients in multiple locations.
“Today, we have seven convenient locations throughout Sussex County where people
can receive outpatient healthcare services,
including our newest location in Georgetown.”
In focus groups that took place in 2012,
participants made clear that the term “medical
center” did not describe the scope of services
and geographic locations that Beebe provides.
To better communicate with consumers, the
decision was made to update our name while
remaining true to our heritage.
“Changing our name is a major milestone
in Beebe’s evolution,” says the Honorable
William Swain Lee, Chairman of the Beebe
Healthcare Board. “Beebe’s growth into a
healthcare system has occurred for years as
we’ve taken proactive steps to expand and
serve the community. In 1916, Beebe was a
two-room hospital. It became a medical center as it grew and offered more medical services. Today, the name Beebe Healthcare signifies a community health system that provides
sophisticated medical care across many sites.”
Specialized Care
As the population in southern Delaware
has grown, Beebe has expanded its services
and the breadth of specialized care. A major
addition to our continuum of care was openheart surgery and interventional cardiology,
which began in 2007, and, more recently,
we added electrophysiology to correct heart
arrhythmias. Today, most heart disease
conditions can be treated locally at Beebe.
Our history of compassionate caring and
advanced treatment for patients battling cancer at the Tunnell Cancer Center has earned
respect and loyalty from our patients and their
families. And the aging population has bene-

Partnering with the Community
Beebe Healthcare remains an independent
community health system with a vision of
making Sussex County one of the healthiest
counties in the nation. Beebe recognizes
that it cannot achieve this goal on its own.
Partnerships like the Healthier Sussex County
initiative with Bayhealth and Nanticoke Health
Services have been created to help coordinate
health promotion and education. The new
outpatient services offered in Millsboro are a
collaboration with Mid-Atlantic Family Practice,
offering a convenient site for people needing
primary care, after hours walk-in care, lab, and
imaging.
“Physical access to care is an important
first step that we have worked hard to
achieve,” Mr. Fried says. “The next frontier
in serving patients is true coordination with
physicians and other providers working
together to ensure the patient receives the
right care in the right place at the right time.
Beebe Healthcare and its staff of physicians
are prepared to be that innovative leader.”

People Helping
Our Community
On a beautiful morning in August, Doris
Hensler, RN, one of a dozen community
outreach nurses with Beebe Healthcare’s
Population Health Department, prepared
tables at the Millsboro 7th Day Adventist
Church for the health fair that was to start.
She made sure that the health screening
equipment was calibrated and ready to go.
People who live near the little country
church, surrounded by woods and farm fields,
came to be screened for the early signs of
heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis.
Doris, flanked by nurses Kathy Cooper, RN,
Michelle Farlow, RN, and Jerry McLamb, RN,
warmly greeted people as they sat down to
have their blood pressure taken, their fingers
pricked, and the density of their heel bones
measured.

screening for specific cancers. All of the organizations collaborated to bring a broad range
of services to the Georgetown community.
“We want to find illnesses early in their
course,” says Megan Williams, FNP, Director
of Beebe Healthcare’s Population Health
Department. “We know that diagnosing and
treating a disease in its early stages leads to
better outcomes and a higher quality of life.”
These free screenings target heart disease,
diabetes, osteoporosis, and cancers of the
breast and prostate, and sometimes the skin.
They also include plenty of free educational
materials.
“We focus on these chronic health conditions because they are common and have the
greatest impact on the quality of life for people in Sussex County,” Megan says, explaining
that the outreach efforts are intended to assist
people who are not getting the healthcare
they may need, either because they are not
insured or because they have limited access
or information.
pressure, one-third are obese, and 12 percent
have diabetes. Cancer rates also are high.
“So many factors impact our health,
such as housing, transportation, education,
and socioeconomic status,” Williams says.
“Population Health is most effective when
it is done in partnership with other
community-based organizations.”
In recent years, Beebe Healthcare has
been able to provide the Hispanic community
by collaborating with Pastor Rene KnightPeguero and his wife Gilda Nieves-Knight
of the Betel United Methodist Church in
Georgetown. This collaboration has led to
providing free health screenings at health
fairs, health information, and methods to
access healthcare when needed.
“Beebe helps us to provide the medical
needs of our community,” says Gilda. “Many
of the people do not have health insurance
or access to a doctor.”
Pastor Knight and Gilda came to Sussex
County in 1995 as missionaries with the Dover
District United Methodist Church to serve
a growing Hispanic population in Sussex
County. Since 1995, they have continued to
serve this population through their affiliation
with Betel.
In another collaboration, Beebe
Healthcare, under the auspices of the
Healthier Sussex County initiative, has been
working with Habitat for Humanity to help
people own their own homes. This year Beebe
has been involved with the construction of
two homes.
“Within the auspices of Healthier Sussex
County, we are working to keep people in
Sussex County healthier through addressing
disparities in healthcare and education, and
working with our community members to
help engage them in making healthier lifestyle choices,” says Jeffrey M. Fried, President
and CEO of Beebe Healthcare. “Certainly, a
healthy environment in which to live is critical
to maintaining good health. Helping Habitat
for Humanity to build homes for Sussex
County residents also provides an opportunity
for the staff of the three hospitals to work
together in a project that supports the
Healthier Sussex County initiative.”

Improving Access to Care
Beebe Healthcare, in a collaborative effort
with other healthcare systems in Sussex
County, has recently completed a Community
Health Needs Assessment to use as a basis to
develop strategies to improve the health of
the southern Delaware population. It won’t
be an easy task. In Sussex County, more than

eebe Healthcare is proud to announce that
it is expanding into Georgetown in October
2013 to provide much-needed healthcare services to the people living and working in the
surrounding area.
Beebe Healthcare will be the anchor tenant in the nearly completed 47,000-squarefoot, two-story College Park Medical Pavilion,
located in College Park, a new and expansive
mixed-use development at the intersection of
Route 404 and Route 113 and across the street
from Delaware Technical Community College.
The development, which already houses
La Red’s new and expanded medical facility,
also will house retail and commercial establishments. Other existing businesses in the
adjacent area include Walmart and Hardee’s
restaurant.
“We are proud and excited to be a part
of this development in Georgetown,” says
Jeffrey M. Fried, President and CEO of Beebe
Healthcare. “It is a well-planned development
that is conveniently located for the people
who live in Georgetown, and for those who
live in the rural surrounding areas. Locating at
this busy crossroads allows Beebe to provide
important healthcare services so that people
can access them without having to travel too
far from home. It also will allow Beebe to provide healthcare education, outreach, and disease and illness prevention screenings so that
we can partner with others to improve the
health of everyone living in Sussex County.”
Beebe Healthcare is leasing the groundfloor space of the Medical Pavilion and will
offer the following services:
• Beebe Lab Express, to include blood specimen collection and EKG (no appointments
necessary)
• Beebe Imaging, to include radiology,
CT, MRI, ultrasound, bone density, and
mammography
• Beebe Rehab Services, to include physical
therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/
language pathology
• Beebe primary care physicians’ offices
• A Beebe Walk-in Care center
The College Park Medical Pavilion, owned
and developed by Onix Group of Kennett
Square, Pennsylvania, will provide office space
on the second floor for private physician
specialists.
Beebe Healthcare is a not-for-profit community healthcare system with a charitable
mission to encourage healthy living, prevent
illness, and restore optimal health for the people residing, working, or visiting in the communities we serve. We offer multiple services
throughout southern Delaware, including a
210-licensed-bed hospital, a cancer center, a
free-standing surgery center, and outpatient
facilities at multiple sites providing lab, imaging, physical rehab services, and walk-in care.

Managing illnesses from home
Beebe Home Health Agency nurse Miriam Kaiser, RN, BSN, CDE, shows Carlton Savage of Lewes how to check his vital signs and transmit them to the Agency’s office in Georgetown, where they are monitored daily.

arlton Savage feels much better these
days, though he misses pizza and fried chicken. Their high content of fat and salt can
aggravate his heart disease and send him
back to the hospital.
“I didn’t know they were so bad for me,”
says the Sussex County native and Lewes resident. “But I feel so much better without them.”
Today, Carlton, 57, and his wife Cathy are
learning how to manage his diabetes and
chronic heart failure with the help of a nurse
from Beebe Home Health Agency and its innovative Philips Telehealth monitoring system.
Carlton weighs himself each morning at
home. He uses a small pulse oximeter to check
how much oxygen is in his blood and another
device to measure his blood pressure and
heart rate. He then uses the Philips Telehealth
monitoring system to transmit the information via telephone to Beebe Home Health
Agency. The Home Health team of nurses
monitors these vital signs and will contact
Carlton’s physician immediately if it appears
his health is worsening or if changes need to
be made to his disease management regimen.
The Agency also sends weekly updates to the
physician.
“The machine catches you cheating, too,”
Carlton says. “If I have a pretzel or ice cream
before I go to bed, it shows up on the
machine the next morning.”
He adds with a smile, “I can’t eat anything
that tastes good.”
heart surgery,” says Dana Warrington, RN, the
Nurse Manager. “Patients are referred into the
program by either the hospital or a physician.
It is not for everyone.”
Carlton was referred to the program after
suffering out-of-control diabetes and serious
heart failure that damaged his kidneys. He
was taken to the Medical Center in Lewes,
where he stayed for 15 days before he was
well enough to be discharged.
“I was so sick,” he recalls. “There were days
I wasn’t with it at all.”
Dana explains that the Telehealth technology is a teaching tool that helps patients learn
how to recognize the warning signs of a worsening chronic illness, so that eventually the
patient can do it without the technology.
“It helps the patient manage his or her
own illness and to know when it is important
to contact the doctor.”
preventing medical
emergencies
Miriam Kaiser, RN, BSN, CDE, a Beebe
Home Health nurse and certified diabetic educator, visits the Savages regularly. She has
taught them how to use the Telehealth monitoring system, as well as how to manage heart
failure and diabetes. Part of her education
plan includes teaching the relationship
between food and health, and how eating too
much sugar, fat, and salt can adversely affect
diabetes and heart failure.
“Miriam has taught me how to read labels
when I go to the supermarket,” Cathy says. “It’s
like going back to school.”
Miriam also taught the Savages how to
regularly check Carlton’s blood glucose levels
to control his diabetes, which is a risk factor
for heart disease.
“I would not feel as good today if it were
not for that machine and for Miriam,” says
Carlton. Cathy agrees. “Miriam has taught us
so much. She is like a security blanket.”
Studies have shown that Telehealth assists
patients with chronic illnesses to successfully
transition from the hospital experience to
living at home and managing their own illnesses. For example, a Tufts–New England
Medical Study has shown a 72 percent reduction in patients with heart failure being readmitted into the hospital when they have
used Telehealth as part of their disease
management program.
Beebe Home Health Agency has about 20
patients at any one time on the Telehealth system, which is free to the patient. The Agency
serves patients throughout southern Delaware,
and it has received the highest patient satisfaction scores in Delaware, according to the
U.S. Government rating system.
Recognizing the
warning signs
Beebe Home Health has incorporated
Telehealth as a tool into the nurse-driven program to help patients stay in their homes as
they learn how to manage their own illnesses.
“We use it for patients who have COPD,

have had a heart attack or who have had

Exceptional
Care for the
Most Severe
Form of
Heart Attack
Beebe Healthcare, earlier this year, received
the American Heart Association’s Mission:
Lifeline® Silver Quality Achievement Award for
implementing an exceptional standard of care
for heart attack patients.
The recognition refers specifically to the
ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction
(STEMI), the most severe form of a heart
attack. In this medical emergency, a blood clot
completely blocks an artery to the heart. It is
critical to immediately restore blood flow by
opening the blocked vessel or by giving clotbusting medication, to prevent death, according to the AHA.
“We are proud and honored to receive this
recognition,” says Lynn Amey, RN, Executive
Director of Cardiac and Vascular Services at
Beebe Healthcare. “This award acknowledges
the high standard of care that our heart
patients receive. It also recognizes the commitment of not only the interventional cardiac
care team, but also those in the Emergency
Department and the Sussex County Emergency Medical Services team who often are
the first people to give patient care in the
event of a heart attack.”
Beebe Healthcare, which implemented its
Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery
program in 2007, has worked tirelessly to
make sure that patients suffering heart attacks
receive the highest
standards of care. For
the best patient outcomes, national standards require that the
blood clot is removed
and the blood flow is
restored to the heart
within 90 minutes of
the patient’s arrival at
the hospital. Whether

day or night, weekday or weekend, Beebe
Healthcare has been well within that standard
for several years. This success reflects the multidisciplinary approach that includes representatives of Cardiac Services, the Emergency
Department, and the Sussex County EMS
working closely together.
“The team follows national protocols of
quality and safety,” says Ehtasham Qureshi,
MD, Director of Interventional Cardiology and
one of three Beebe Healthcare interventional
cardiologists. “We strive for 100 percent compliance with all guidelines.”
To qualify for the award, Beebe Healthcare
also had to adhere to additional best practice
patient care guidelines for more than a year.
Those guidelines include the use of aggressive
risk-reduction therapies such as cholesterollowering drugs, aspirin, Angiotensinconverting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, and
beta-blockers.
“Our Cardiac Surgery program is essential
to our ability to provide this care to our
patients,” Dr. Qureshi adds.
In recent months, the Beebe Healthcare
team treated more than 50 patients suffering
from a STEMI heart attack. Last year, more
than 1,300 heart patients received diagnostic
catheterizations. Of those, nearly 400 had
stent procedures to open blocked cardiac
arteries and about 130 patients needed
open-heart surgery.

also in facial plastic surgery.
Getting Back to
the Life You Love
O
ver the past several years, Beebe surgeons
and administrators have committed to a philosophy of instituting minimally invasive surgical techniques when medically appropriate to
offer the most advanced care for the surgical
patient. These techniques can produce less
pain, less bleeding, and a faster return for the
patient to his or her daily life. The cost savings—to patients and employers—has helped
us to make responsible economic decisions in
a time of cost-benefit importance.
Pictured here is a recent laparoscopic
hysterectomy that was performed in an
operating room at the Medical Center in
Lewes with the use of our new image-guided
“I especially am looking forward to working with Dr. Cuozzo, who performs Mohs surgery,” Dr. Elder says. “I am especially interested
in reconstructive surgery.”
Mohs is a specialized surgical technique
used for skin cancer. The focus of the procedure is to remove the cancer while protecting
healthy tissue. Following the Mohs procedure,
Dr. Elder will close the defect on the same day.
The combination of Mohs and facial plastic
surgery in one combined office allows for the
management of routine and complex skin
cancer of the face that is convenient for
patients.
Besides a subspecialty in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Elder also performs endoscopic sinus
surgery, an image-guided surgery to treat
such disorders as nasal polyps, septal deviations, and chronic sinus problems. Image
guidance (intraoperative navigation) allows
CT scans to be used as a “road map” during
surgery to increase patient safety. This is
provided by the use of the newly acquired
Medtronic Fusion System. Dr. Elder also performs in-office minimally invasive procedures
such as balloon sinuplasty. As with other
minimally invasive surgical procedures,
patients recuperate faster to return to their
normal lives.
Dr. Elder earned his Doctor of Osteopathy
from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine. He completed an internship and
residency in Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic
Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center
in Livingston, New Jersey. He is a member
of the American Academy of Facial Plastic

throat; hence, the more common name of
“ear, nose, and throat physician.”
This physician also treats disorders and
diseases related to the head and neck, such as
those affecting the mouth, throat, and sinuses.
Otolaryngologists often have subspecialties
that can include facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Beebe medical Foundation
Beebe Medical Foundation is located in the former home of Dr. Richard
Beebe, who co-founded Beebe Healthcare in 1916 with his brother Dr.
James Beebe. The house originally stood down the street on the site of
what is today the clinical building of the hospital.

Beebe Medical Foundation
Names New President and CEO
The Board of Directors of the Beebe Medical
Foundation is pleased to announce that Judy
Ludlow Aliquo, CFRE, will serve as the new
President and CEO of the Beebe Medical
Foundation.
Judy will assume overall responsibility
for all of the ongoing operations of the
Foundation, which supports Beebe Healthcare
in realizing its vision of Sussex County becoming one of the healthiest counties in the
nation. Her primary focus is on philanthropic
efforts, such as the Beebe Annual Fund,
planned giving and programmatic fundraising, and future capital campaigns. She also
will oversee our premier fundraising events,
12
Beacon / november 2013
such as the annual Art Auction in the spring
and the Beebe Ball in the fall.
“I am familiar with the strides that Beebe
Healthcare has made in recent years,” says Mrs.
Aliquo, a Delaware native from Wilmington
who has regularly visited the area with her
husband Jim Aliquo. “I am honored and excited to continue the important work of the
Foundation and to raise funds to support
Beebe Healthcare, which provides quality
medical care and services to the people in
southern Delaware.”
Mrs. Aliquo joins Beebe Medical
Foundation from Wilmington Friends School,
where she has worked in fundraising, development, and community outreach roles for
23 years. Since 2001, she served as Director
of Development, where she worked with the
head of the school and board members to
raise funds for a $35 million comprehensive
fundraising campaign. In addition, Judy was
responsible for alumni and donor relations,
stewardship, and events.
Judy Ludlow Aliquo, CFRE, President and CEO, Beebe Medical Foundation
Mrs. Aliquo, who has a strong background
as a business manager and a comptroller,
earned her Bachelor of Science degree in
business administration with a major in
accounting from Goldey Beacom College
in Wilmington.
Mrs. Aliquo is moving to the Rehoboth
Beach area with her husband Jim and dog
Lanie. Judy and Jim have two children, Erin
and Gabe, who both live and work in the
Wilmington area.
“We are pleased that Mrs. Aliquo will take
over this important assignment,” says Paul
Mylander, Chairman of the Beebe Foundation
Board of Directors. “She brings a wealth of
experience in the development profession
and an appreciation of Delaware and the
needs of our growing population.”
Beebe Honor Roll of Donors
B
eebe Medical Foundation was established in 1989 with the
sole mission to raise philanthropic support for Beebe Healthcare.
Through the efforts of the Foundation more than $42 million
has been raised to support new construction and renovation of
medical facilities, new and ongoing medical programs, and to
establish an endowment fund to ensure Beebe will always be
available for this community.
Nursing Education Campaign
Nurses provide frontline care and comfort at a difficult time in the lives of patients and their families,
but there is a critical shortage of nurses in Delaware and across the country.
The new Nursing Education Campaign will help provide for the renovation and construction of the new
Beebe Healthcare–Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing. The new school will allow Beebe to double our
graduating classes, helping to alleviate the shortage of nurses in our area.

24th Annual Best of the Beach Art Auction,
Dinner, and Dance June 8, 2013
This annual summer event, held in June, has become a tradition for the many friends who come together each year to bid on wonderful items,
purchase outstanding art, and enjoy fantastic food and entertainment.
This event has raised more than $1.78 million over the last 24 years. Proceeds from the 24th Annual Art Auction will be designated to the expansion of healthcare services into more areas of Sussex County to better serve our neighbors in Millsboro, Georgetown, Milton, and Bethany Beach.
This summer, Beebe opened a facility in Millsboro on Route 113 in partnership with Mid-Atlantic Family Practice. New or expanded services
include laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and walk-in care. By expanding care in western Sussex County, Beebe can make outstanding healthcare
more accessible to those who live in and visit our communities.

25th Annual Beebe Ball: The Silver Soirée
November 3, 2012
This gala dinner dance and silent auction, held in November, has become the highlight of the winter season, and since its inception the proceeds
have benefited various Beebe Healthcare programs.
Over the last 25 years, the Ball has raised more than $1.8 million. Net proceeds from the 2012 event totaled more than $104,000 to add electrophysiology services to the Cardiac program at Beebe Healthcare. EPS (electrophysiologic study) is the procedure that looks at the electrical conduction of the heart. Heart rhythm disorders can be electrical, circulatory, or structural in origin. Our expanded program will allow us to treat patients
with heart rhythm disorders. These treatments can often change the course of someone’s life.

17th Annual Holiday of Lights Tree Lighting
November 29, 2012
Once again, the front lawn of the Medical Center was filled with the voices of children singing carols as the Christmas tree was lit with colorful
lights representing friends and loved ones who are being honored and remembered.
More than $7,500 was raised last year. Proceeds will again benefit Beebe Healthcare’s Population Health Programs of disease prevention,
screening, and early diagnosis.

Jean & Joan Cancer Fund Charity
Golf Tournament October 2, 2012
The Jean & Joan Cancer Fund was established in the memory of Jean James and Joan Martin, two outstanding
women who lost their valiant battles with cancer. During their final months, both women were surrounded
by families that loved and cared for them and a circle of friends that generously gave their time and support.
It is most important that people going through these trying times receive all the physical and spiritual support available. The goal of the Jean & Joan Cancer Fund is to assist the Tunnell Cancer Center in providing care
and comfort for patients.
Jean & Joan Cancer Fund Golf Tournament has contributed over $354,000 to the Tunnell Cancer Center since
its inception.

place offers comparison shopping to find the
plan that meets your needs and budget.
For the 90,000 people in Delaware who
don’t have health insurance today, it offers
access to affordable, quality healthcare. Based
on your income, you may be able to receive
lower costs on premiums and out-of-pocket
expenses.
To receive coverage starting January 1, you
must enroll by December 15. Open enrollment
continues through March 31, 2014.
For details or to enroll, go to

The flu viruses change
each year and vaccines
are necessary annually
Control and Prevention in recommending that the
following populations consider getting the annual
influenza vaccination:
• People 50 to 64 years of age. Nearly one-third
of people between the ages of 50 and 64 in the
United States have one or more medical conditions
that place them at an increased risk for serious flu
complications.
• People who can transmit flu to others at high risk
for complications. Any person in close contact with
someone in a high-risk group should get vaccinated. This includes all healthcare workers, household
contacts and out-of-home caregivers of young
children up to 23 months of age, and close contacts with people 65 years and older.
According to CDC, people at high risk for
complications from influenza include:
weakened immune system (including immune
system problems caused by medicines or by
infection with human immunodeficiency virus
[HIV/AIDS]).
• Children six months to 18 years of age who are
on long-term aspirin therapy. (Children given
aspirin while they have influenza are at risk of
Reye’s syndrome.)
•W
omen who are pregnant during influenza season.
•A
ll children six to 23 months of age.
• People with any condition that can compromise
respiratory function or the handling of respiratory
secretions (that is, a condition that makes it hard to
breathe or swallow, such as brain injury or disease,
spinal cord injuries, seizure disorders, or other
nerve or muscle disorders).
Free Flu Shots
Beebe Healthcare has been offering free flu
vaccines to adults 18 years of age and older since
mid-September. Free flu clinics are being offered
each Monday through November 18, from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m. in the east lobby of the hospital at
424 Savannah Road, Lewes.
Beebe will provide several additional free flu
clinics across Sussex County this fall. See Beebe’s
website for more details, www.beebehealthcare.org
or call Beebe Population Health at (302) 645-3337.
• People 65 years and older.
• People who live in nursing homes and other
long-term care facilities that house those with
long-term illnesses.
