GOD’S PLAN FOR GIVING
Tithing Income Last Week:
Income Same Week Last Year:
$12,966.17
$13,374.51
From the Pastor: “Every financial contribution made to our
church, small or large, is truly appreciated. We are blessed
by your generosity and I’m sure God will bless you for sharing
part of your treasure to support our parish.”
From the Pews: “When I was driving down the road the other
day I noticed a lot of people going to the McDonald’s. We
know enough to feed ourselves when we are hungry, but we
are so afraid to give God some of that money to feed people
who are REALLY hungry and who don’t even know what a
McDonald’s Big Mac looks like. That’s what tithing is all
about.”
Did you Lose a Very Special Piece of

Please donate your gently used shoes to help Kids in Kenya.
Joe Vidal, a parishioner, a Boy Scout from Troop 54, a graduate from St. Therese
School, and a junior at Morris Catholic, is coordinating a donation of shoes to
send to St. Cecelia's, our sister parish in Kenya, for his Eagle Scout Project.
These shoes would improve the health of the children by preventing diseases and
infections that can be contracted through bare feet. If you have shoes that you do
not have a use for, the children of St. Cecelia's certainly will.
Sneakers and dress shoes would be most helpful but all shoe donations will be
accepted. ALL SIZES are welcome.
There will be a box in the atrium for the next 2 weekends: June 23/24th and June 30th/July 1st.
You can also drop the shoes off during the week in the box in the all purpose room.
Monetary donations would also be appreciated to help defray the cost of shipping.
If you have any questions you can contact Joe Vidal at 973-294-2022 or [email protected].
