Lycoming County Fair

T
he Lycoming Fair Association,
along with its new president,
Jack Smith, is hosting its 139th
carnival in Hughesville starting July 16.
Smith announced the new pay-one-price
and alligator show at this year’s event.
Pay-one-price includes mechanical rides
and live entertainment, such as the grandstand shows.
Daily
All day at the Midway: Sonney Dayze.

According to Smith, other entertainment includes Junga the aligator, and moo
mania, which is a midway show that will
be performed five times each day.
Smith also said the alligator show “will
be about a half-hour education show. It’s
not like alligator wrestiling or that type of
thing. It is a show for everyone, but I think
it is very good for children.”
Times of the alligator show will be
announced daily and performed twice a
day.
“The other thing that will come this
year is a Go Joe 12 bicycle ride for St.
Joseph’s,” said Smith, “which will arrive at
about 5 p.m. at the third street entrance.”

This will be Snedeker’s 12th bicycle
ride. His goal is to help children with special needs and to raise awareness to the

Go Joe’s bicycle ride is dedicated to raising proceeds for St. Joseph’s Hospital in
Scranton.
Pay one price also will include the Shot
Gun Red show and E.J. Kight. These
shows will be located at the area of the
Muncy band and Trust Entertainment
pavilion.
