Industrial Visit
The department of Management Studies had
organized an industrial visit of MBA and BBA students on 10th February 2012 to Jaipur. In this visit we visited Jaipur Rugs Pvt. Ltd. at
Mansarover and Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM at Vashali Nagar Jaipur,
under the banner of R’academia, (event committee).
Manoj Sharma, Nimesh Gupta and Ajeet Singh Tomar
were the faculty coordinators of this Industrial visit.

Institute of Engineering & Technology, Alwar the First self-financed college of Rajasthan and promoted by the A.I.S.A.E.R. (All India Society for Advance Education & Research), New Delhi was
established in the Year 1998 at Alwar. The Institute was given NOC and approval by the A.I.C.T.E.
on 07 July, 1998. Institute obtained affiliation from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur on 04 August,
1998. The single institute venture over the years has grown up and become a Group of Academic
Institutions that include 2 Engineering Institutes, a Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Management College
and a University by now.

The Engineering colleges managed by this group are providing Technical Education in 7 Engineering Branches at Under Graduate Level and 5 Branches at Post Graduate Level, a rare combination
present in education in private sector in whole of North India. The Biotechnology stream is available
at UG and PG in Biotechnology Institute. Pharmacy college is catering to B. Pharma. Students and
the Management studies are delivering quality education for various UG and PG management
courses. The IET Group is managed by a group of visionary professionals lead by it's Chairman,
Dr. V. K. Agarwal (MBBS, MD, MBA) with a vision to fulfill a finest Educational Standards in Northern India particularly in Rajasthan. Dr. V. K. Agarwal as Chairman of the group is supported by

The institute has been abuzz with umpteen numbers of
activities both academic and extracurricular, the
department constituted a body of Faculty and Students to
plan and organize such events and Activities named
R’ academia. The R’academia is headed by Mr. Manoj
Sharma under the kind blessing and guidance of
Hon’ble Executive Director (Dr Manju Agrwal) & under
the direct supervision of Dr Bhupendra Kumar. The R’academia nurtures the future managers
by giving those insights of all technicalities, professional communication through theoretical
concepts and practical knowledge. The main aim of the body is to convert students in to an
employment ready professional by organizing extra academic and curricular activities,
inviting guests’ lectures. The experts drawn from academia and industry have speared their
valuable time from their busy schedule for the cause of the students.
Fresher's Party
Fresher’s Day is a welcome party to newcomer
students and is meant for interaction between seniors and fresher’s. Therefore IET organize
The Fresher's Day every year start of the new session. In this event all the newcomers showcase their
talents in guidance of their seniors.
Seminar on Business Communication
A seminar was organized by DMS on 19th October 2011 on
“Communication Skills”.
The venue of the seminar was

College. In all there were
23 participants from all classes of BBA & MBA. Since the event
belonged to the students it was anchored and conducted very
efficiently and successfully by two students of MBA 1STsem
namely Dolly Gandhi and Mr. Ambuj Chouhan

To help students to prepare CVs and educate them how
to face personal interview and participate in GDs during
the placement a workshop was organized in MBA department in LT-1 on 17th December 2011. Mr. Rajeev Jain,
MIS consultant and corporate trainer from Gurgoun was
invited to give the lecture to students of BBA, MBA, BCA
and MCA. Total 69 students from all streams participated
in it. The time taken for workshop was five hours.

Toppers of BBA
Business Quiz was organized in Department Management
Studies on 14th December 2011. The venue for the same
was LT 1, Department of Management Studies. In all 8
teams participated and two of which were eliminated in
qualifying round. Six teams reached in the finals.
Alwar of Management Studies
Alwar Management Studies is the unit of IET Group of Institutions . AMS the management of the Group is rendering quality education services in the field of
managers. It
is running MBA BBA, MCA, BCA at UG Level about 600 students are admitted to the
course of management every year.
Alwar Management Studies develop students / executive to future manager. AMS
conduct various programmes for students as well as working executive from time to
time. We are committed to take management education to the new dimension. Ordinary
students / executives are groomed to extra ordinary and extra ordinary to excellent at

Workshop on SPSS and MS-Excel
A three days national workshop was organized by
R’ academia on 19th April to 21st April 2012. the Expert
for SPSS was Prof (Dr) Balkishan Sharma from Himachal
University , Shimla and for Excel Prof. Santosh Sharma
from CRI Gwalior . Workshop was attended by Students
and Faculty from Alwar and NCR Region.
