Compact and cost-efficient water recover y
AquaPur
The effective filter concept
for high-quality process water
• Physical system for water recovery: AquaPur is a reliable system
based on mechanical filtration and the use of special quartz gravel.
The result is a very effective and cost-efficient water recovery system for the car wash sector.
• Low operating costs - low consumption: AquaPur ensures fully
automatic filtering of even the finest dirt particles without using any
chemicals. Only at high numbers of more than 600 washes per
month, particle sedimentation should be supported using a flocculant to avoid water turbidity.
• Compact design - easy to operate: Thanks to its compact design,
AquaPur can be easily installed in small utility rooms. Gravel filter,
process water tank and control box are mounted on a common
chassis. With its low-maintenance and user-friendly operation, the
system is ideally suited for daily operation.
• The water quality complies with the specifications for car washing and
excess water disposal.
• High filter capacity of 4 m3/hour
• Virtually 100 % water recovery
• Available with and without flocculant
• Compact design
• Easy to operate
• Type-approved design available (Z-83.3-24)

HOW AQUAPUR® WORKS
Filtering
Backwashing
Dirty water is pumped from the storage basin
into the filter.
The dirty water is
transported through
the funnel into the
sedimentation tank.
The dirty water is
passed through a
funnel into the filter
tank.
The water flows through the filter from top
to bottom. All dirt particles are retained there
in the quartz gravel. The filtered water flows
immediately into the storage tank.
The resultant agitation
action removes the
particles of dirt from
the quartz gravel.
Special quartz
gravel filters out dirt
particles.
Backwashing takes
place in the opposite
direction.
Cleaned water is
pumped into the
storage tank
via the filter unit.
The system cleans itself through the backwashing process. Water is pumped through the
filter from the bottom to the top. Backwashing
water and the initial filtrate are passed into the
sedimentation tank for sedimentation.
Water is pumped from the
storage tank into the tank
via the filter unit.

1
The waste water flows through the silt trap into
a storage tank with an aeration system that
reliably prevents odour.
2
The pre-cleaned water is pumped into the filter.
3
In the filter operation, the water flows through
one fine and one coarse gravel layer.
4
Now free from particles, the water flows into
the process water tank.
5
From the storage tank, the water is pumped
into the car wash.
6
Water that is not required for use is returned
into the circuit via the circulation pipes.
