Other programs that
support Pleasant Ridge
Many other local and national businesses support
PRWS through donation programs based on
purchase volume, similar to Scrip. These include:
• Target Visa card (your friends and relatives can enroll PRWS for school rewards)
• Kwik Trip credit card (gasoline and in-store
purchases. This is a smaller reward than gift card.)
• Office Depot’s Back-to-Schools program provide PRWS’s #70110722 when making purchases in-store or online
• Bill Brooke Realty – 5% of any commission, The fundraiser that
does not cost you money
The Scrip Program at Pleasant Ridge Waldorf
School is a fundraiser that allows you to raise
money for the school when you purchase items like
groceries, gas, meals, car repairs, hardware, books,
draft supplies, gifts, gardening supplies, flowers,
veterinarian services and even chiropractic care!
Scrip currency can be used as cash at any business
listed in this brochure or on our website:
www.pleasantridgewaldorf.org. The participating
businesses support this program by returning 5%
of the purchase to the school. There is no cash
value loss to you. These businesses want to
support our school because they see real value in
it. All earnings directly fund our operating budget.
Encourage your friends to buy Scrip and ask them
to remind and encourage you. If we work together,
more income will come to our school. This is
community supported education! Working together
we support each other.

Using Scrip Currency
Pay for goods and services with
Scrip currency ($1, $5, $10, $20
denominations) at the Scrip businesses
listed here and on our website (not
Village Market,Nelson’s or Kwik Trip).
The businesses will give change in
Scrip currency. Please provide them
with coin change whenever possible to
eliminate bookkeeping problems for
the business.
Gift certificates are available in the
school office, Bramble Books, or Steve
Walker for large, one-time purchases.

The Scrip Card and
Kwik Trip Gift Cards
The school will issue a Scrip
card to each parent to use at Village
Market and Nelson Agri-Center. Simply
show this card before every purchase.*
