Friday September 20th saw the last home football game for the Eagles this year. The field is being
renovated and artificial turf is being installed and it looks like they will also be building onto the stadium, adding locker rooms, ETC….. Keep checking the website for continued news on this addition.
They also have plans this fall / winter to build an indoor tennis facility next to the new tennis courts
built out by the soccer fields a couple of years ago.

Class Business...
Beginning this fall we have big news in the business department.
Howard B. Mosley has taken the Class Gift Chair reins from Sarah as she takes on her new
responsibilities at the Academies. The fiscal year 2013-14 challenge for the great class of
1977 as always is to raise our participation level. Our goal this year is to raise $100,000;
with 25% participation (39 donors). As in many past years we are always deficient in our
participation levels, with only 23 donors or 15% participation last year, we will be striving to
accomplish our goal again this year.
AGAIN; many thanks to those who find the courage to continue the legacy of the Class of
1977 and give so generously year and year out.
I’d like to extend to everyone, please send Sarah ([email protected]) a note of thanks
for her tireless work as class gift chair over the past 7 years. It has been my pleasure to have
her as part of the team, THANK YOU SARAH and GOOD LUCK with those girls.

William Benjamin Wynne born July 10, 1958
in Dallas, TX to Martha Jane Smith Wynne and
Toddie Lee Wynne Jr. as the youngest of five
children. He died peacefully at his home at Cedar Creek Lake on July 30, 2013, surrounded by
his friends and family, after a valiant fight with
cancer. Ben was named for his great grandfather, William Benjamin Wynne, a prominent trial

was an accomplished boater, hunter, and outdoorsman. Ben is survived by his wife, Laurie
