The Outreach
To Serve or Not to Serve
Have you been looking for a place to serve or test the waters of service? What
does “SERVE” mean any way? Simply defined, service means the action of
helping or doing work for someone. As Christians though, service means more.
As followers of Christ “your attitude should be that of Christ Jesus”
(Philippians 2:5). Meaning to Serve, is to be more Christ like. Jesus said “ just
as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve” (Matthew 20:28).
Service is so much more than an action of helping or doing work for someone,
but rather an act of obedience and of love.
There are many ministries that have openings just waiting for someone to fill
them. Could it be YOU?
