What is the Uniclic joint?
Yes. TORLYS Online Sample Ordering makes it easy
to request any flooring sample. Visit our website at
www.torlys.com, and click "Order Samples" on the
home page. For a small fee, your package will include
a minimum of 3(three) 4" x 6" flooring samples of the collection
and style of your choice, up to 3(three) TORLYS brochures and a rebate
coupon off your purchase.
TORLYS Cork Warranty
TORLYS Cork floors are covered by a 25-Year Residential Wear Warranty, and
a Lifetime Structural and Joint Integrity Warranty. These warranties apply to
the original end user, are not transferable, and cover only approved product
applications. Please note that these warranties are valid from the date of
purchase as shown on the consumer invoice.
Warranties are valid only if proper installation (including the use of TORLYS
recommended underlay products, where needed) and maintenance procedures,

The Uniclic joint is a patented joint guaranteed to resist gapping, warping and
cupping. (Some floating floors promote their joint systems, but if it doesn’t say
Uniclic, it’s not the same.) The patented Uniclic is integral to all TORLYS Cork
floors. During installation, it doesn’t require messy glues or nails of any kind.
Uniclic creates a remarkably stable and gap-resistant floor, and because the click
joint process is reversible, the floor can be re-used up to 3 times under warranty.

TORLYS Cork uses the patented Uniclic joint, a glue and nail-free joint
system that ensures a great-looking floor and makes installation easy.
All you need is an Installation Kit, a few basic tools and some time
to install your floor. Ask your local TORLYS dealer for more details
on installation.
TORLYS Cork requires the same maintenance as all other
TORLYS floors. Simply vacuum or sweep your floors on a regular
basis or use TORLYS Floor Cleaner for deeper cleaning. Clean up any
spills with a cloth.
Because Cork is a natural material, no two planks are alike... this adds to its
beauty. Some color and shade variation should be expected. Always
work from several boxes at the same time and shuffle planks for the best
visual appearance. Protect flooring from direct sunlight, to minimize fading!

TORLYS Cork is an engineered product, well-suited for installation below
grade, over concrete and even over existing floors. Cork can be installed
in bathrooms, but care should be taken to seal all expansion gaps with
silicone. Ask your local TORLYS dealer for more information on different
applications and what you may require.

1. Wear-through Warranty
This is restricted to wear on the surface of the boards. The wear must be readily
visible and cover a minimum of 10% of the installed floor. Gloss reduction is not
considered wear.
2. Lifetime Structural Warranty
We guarantee this product is free from manufacturing defects and will remain
free of these defects for as long as you own your residence.
3. Lifetime Joint Integrity Warranty
The joint will remain secure and the planks will not come apart. Note: All TORLYS
Cork floors are engineered to minimize gapping that can occur in natural floors
with seasonal fluctuations. Minor gapping (up to 0.2mm or 0.01”), without the
unlocking of the pieces, may occur and is not considered a defect.

Cork Floors
QUIET, WARM AND COMFORTABLE
Composed of millions of tiny cellular air pockets,
cork is an extraordinary insulator, quiet, warm
and exceptionally comfortable to walk on.
Cork reduces heat loss in rooms, helping to
maintain a pleasant indoor temperature
- never too hot or too cool.
Cork floors are made without cutting down cork oak
trees. Cork bark is carefully harvested, once every
nine years, in a centuries-old tradition with hand
tools, a process ensuring that forests will remain
undamaged. It is not unusual to have a 200 year-old
tree still producing cork bark.
HYPO-ALLERGENIC
Indoor air quality actually improves with cork flooring.
It is hypo-allergenic and insect resistant. Mites
and even termites are repelled due to a
naturally occurring substance in cork
called Suberin.
