The commerce of tomorrow is already here! Today, the consumer has become
a “consum’actor”.
Well informed, he plans his customer itinerary, seeks comfortable environments rather than sales
outlets, shares his experiences, associates social networks therewith, chooses his sales channel
and uses his smartphone or computer depending on his schedule and mood.

• EQUIPMAG: the meeting place for Retailing trends.
Tradenames must use their imagination in order to make their sales outlets enchanting again
and transform them into unique experience places. EQUIPMAG 2012 will highlight this, with
animations focused on innovations which make the «Customer Experience» a reality and a
special area dedicated to mobility.

Consuming differently is becoming entrenched as a new value in developed societies. After
the recent economic crisis, the shopper wants to give new meaning to his consumption.
EQUIPMAG deciphers the trend of the new moral contracts that brands have to make with
their customers and analyses how to integrate them in the sales outlet: eco design and
sustainable development will be at the heart of the tradeshow’s themes.

A known and recognised tradeshow and a distribution market in France which is leading
some retailers to confirm that France is the key to deployment for distribution in Europe.
EQUIPMAG is becoming international. The percentage of foreign exhibitors and visitors has
doubled since 2008.

Designers, agencies, reflection and concepts will be given pride of place in 2012.
In an approach which stands out, design represents the answer to marketing concept
which is both prospective and lucrative in terms of turnover for the retailers. The Design
Area - at the heart of the tradeshow - will be a very good example of this.
450 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors are expected at the tradeshow. It represents a huge melting
pot of trends, concepts, ideas, materials, technologies, solutions and innovations… presenting
everything that your customers and prospects are looking for in order to develop and win new
markets.
For 3 days, EQUIPMAG 2012 will be, the physical social network of the world
of retailing!
