Ichihara City on November 13th (Fri) and 14th (Sat). Many fire-engines and
helicopters will gather in Ichihara City on the days, and you might meet roads

In winter, air tends to stagnate with air pollutant contained in automobile exhaust
gas. Keep the following things in mind, and save the beautiful sky.

Start accepting the application for nursery schools and others
From November 9th (Mon), we start accepting the application for entering nursery
schools in April 2016. Those who wait for entering nursery schools in 2015 need to
apply again.
“Kodomo, Kosodate Shi-en Shin Seido” (New system of support for children and
childrearing) started nationwide in April 2015. Under the new system, facilities to
use depends on authorization in three categories. When you hope to use nursery
schools and others, you need to fit one of the following “Reasons to need nursery”
and get authorization.
Reasons to need nursery
(1) Employment (work for 60 hours and more in a month)
(2) Pregnancy and childbirth
(3) Injury, disease, and disability of guardian
(4) To nurse family members who live together or hospitalized for long periods
(5) Disaster recovery
(6) Job-hunting activity (including setting up a business)
(7) Schooling (including taking a vocational training at a vocational school)
(8) Doing or having a risk of doing child-abuse
(9) Having a child who has been to a nursery school during taking child-care
leave, and continuously need to use a support
(10) Other reasons that the City approve as similar reasons to (1)-(9)
How to apply
Fill in the blanks on the “支給認定申請書兼保育所等入所申込書” (Application form
for grant approval and Application form for entering nursery schools and others)
which is available at Nursery Division, branches, nursery schools and so on. Apply
with the application form and the necessary documents during the following period
at Nursery Division or the nursery schools below.
Those who want to apply for
private kindergartens which are not in the list “Nursery schools where accept
applications below”, please apply directly.

Nursery schools and others outside the city⇒ From November 9th (Mon) to two days
before the deadline for outside residents at each municipality
Selection of applicants
The priority to accept to nursery schools and others will be determined depending
on the working situation of guardians and family situation. Then, the result will be
informed in the middle of February. When the applicants are too many, you might
not be able to use nursery schools and others.
Three categories for authorization
Grade 1: Children are 3 years old and older, and hope to use “Nintei Kodomo-en
(Certified center for early childhood education and care)”
Facilities to use: “Nintei Kodomo-en (Certified center for early childhood
education and care)”
Grade 2: Children are 3 years old and older, meet one of the above “Reasons for
need nursery”, and hope to use nursery schools and others
Facilities to use: Nursery schools and “Nintei Kodomo-en (Certified center for
early childhood education and care)”
Grade 3: Children are younger than 3 years old, meet one of the above “Reasons
for need nursery”, and hope to use nursery schools and others

Gakudoh-hoiku (After-school childcare program)
“Jidoh Club” is a system of care of schoolchildren by supporting members because
their guardians are not at home in the daytime for work.
We start accepting the

Note: “Viewing Pass” has joyful stamp rally (collecting series of stamps at the spots).

first-come-first-served basis.
