the mane and the head as desired. You can also
shade other areas lightly as desired.

On the second layer, shade only the leg points if
needed.

Shade the muzzle lightly and shade gender area.

On a paper plate, mix approximately 12 drops of
Americana Bleached Sand and 2 drops of Americana Fawn. The paint color should match the lightest color on the mane. Use the reference photos
provided. Base color the mane and tail and then
matte spray.

With a small 10/0 or 5/0 paint brush, use this
pigment color to paint a dorsal stripe and leg
barring.
Use the reference photos to help detail the tail.
Shade the tail with Italian Umber and at the base
of the tail, shade with Pigment 15b
For the mane, shade lightly as desired.

Matte spray.
With a flat paint brush or small round paint brush,
use the pigment in the tail grooves as desired.
Matte spray to finish.
