Broadcast Services
Direct-To-Home (DTH) TV
TV Backhauling
NOORSAT offers Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) DTH TV services from the only
two Hotspots serving the Arab World, currently carrying more than 300 Free-To-Air (FTA) TV, Pay-TV
(PTV) and Radio channels.
Satellite capacities for backhauling links are available on the NOORSAT 3B (E3B), NOORSAT 4B (E21B)
and NOORSAT 5 (IS15) can provide a reliable satellite link that can be used to transmit live content
from the customer transmitting facility to NOORSAT’s Teleport and Operation Centre and/or to any
premises of the customer within the satellite coverage.
Hotspot 7/8° West
The NOORSAT 7 (E7WA) satellite gives unmatched power and full coverage of the entire
Arab World. NOORSAT has expanded its capacities to include the NOORSAT 7B (E8WB)
satellite to cater for the ongoing growth of the DTH TV market. Launched in the third
quarter of 2015, the satellite covers the entire Arab World with exceptionally high power
and replaces the (E8WC) gap filler satellite.
Hotspot 25.5° East
With its unique wide coverage and high power, the NOORSAT 1 (E25B) satellite ensures the
reach of TV channels and telecom services to the entire Arab World, or to the Middle East,
Central Asia and parts of Europe.
All receiving satellite dishes currently pointed at the vicinity of orbital locations 7/8° W and/or
25.5° E, can receive TV programming broadcast by the NOORSAT 7, NOORSAT 7B and NOORSAT 1
satellites, respectively, without the need to re-point or make any modifications. This has been
made possible by NOORSAT’s access to capacities on both orbital slots and by the establishment of
a state-of-the-art ground facility that offers around the clock monitoring and support at NOORSAT’s
Teleport and Operation Centre.
Occasional TV
NOORSAT provides around-the-clock Occasional TV Service capacities, enabling customers to
connect with up-to-date worldwide events, breaking news, entertainment, political, cultural and
sports coverage. Multiple video conferencing can also be achieved.
Capacities are available on various satellites at competitive prices and capacity for IP streaming is
also available upon a client’s request.

Data and Telecom
Dedicated capacity on multiple satellites across NOORSAT’s coverage area offers the opportunity
for Service Providers to cater for broadband access, data applications, VoIP, GSM backhauling, and
VSAT services for private and governmental networks. In addition, NOORSAT provides
connectivity to fibre optic networks from different parts of the World.
