Ground Breaking for the Help Build Hope home took place March 15, 2015 Pastor Paul Alvey celebrates the breaking of ground for Heather Cooper’s home built at Shiloh church. Pictured along with Paul is the Habitat project manager, Joe Howland, Heater Cooper, and Habitat board president Josh Harris. Compliments of Vince Lueche, editor of Perry County News Heather Cooper and her three children, Mackenzie, Alex, and Lillian. Compliments of Vince Lueche, editor of Perry County News Worship lead my Paul of Shiloh and Ryan of CCJ on the day of the build. The work begins. Partner families contribute sweat equity during the construction process. Bible versus and words of love are written on the walls. As the walls go up and the versus of love are read, Heather decides this must be her home. The blessing of Heather’s Home Heather’s home will be assembled on 11th street in Tell City where a home was destroyed by fire. The fire-destroyed house and the lot was donated to Habitat by the Andy Sommer family. Compliments of Vince Lueche editor of Perry County News Walls assembled In October will be trucked to this site when the home’s foundation is ready.
