HARVESTER .404”-PITCH 18HX CHAIN
The 18HX upgrade has many new features, which make this workhorse an even
tougher chain than the 18H. With the demand for stability in any cutting condition,
be it weather, terrain, or variety of timber being cut, the Oregon® .404” 18HX chain
upgrades improve
The 18HX coined drive links
are 17% thicker above the
groove than 18H.
The chain is wider, tougher and

WHAT’S NEW IN BARS
PROFESSIONAL GUIDE BAR NOSE UPGRADES
Our cradle design nose patented in 1991, drastically reduced bar nose failures by
addressing Sprocket Nose Outer Race (SNOR) breakage. Now, all our PRO bar
noses have been upgraded to reduce SNOR breakage where the nose laminates
spread and causes the bearings to tip and jam.

Oregon® has a variety of accessories available to help keep your saw chain cutting
like new throughout its life. The 12V Sure Sharp® makes it easy to sharpen saw chain
by hand and keeps working long after other hand grinders wear out. Upgrades include
a convenient cigarette lighter plug-in adapter in addition to the existing "alligator clips",
and a sharpening stone release spindle switch for fast, easier stone removal.

511AX BENCH CHAIN GRINDER
The Oregon model 511AX bench chain grinder is one of the finest machines available
for those who frequently sharpen chain. It has been carefully redesigned to include some
new and upgraded features that will make grinding chain faster and more efficient. This
well-built machine is sure to provide years of valuable service for all that use it.

The Oregon Cutting Systems Group of Blount, Inc. (OCSG) warrants its products to be free from
defects in materials and workmanship for as long as they are owned by the original retail purchaser.
If you like our products, please tell your friends. If you are not satisfied with our products, for any
reason, please tell us. OCSG wants to provide you with products that perform to your full satisfaction.
We welcome you to contact us as shown below.
LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT PARTS, AT THE
OPTION OF YOUR OREGON® DISTRIBUTOR AND OCSG. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR OREGON
DISTRIBUTOR OR US DIRECTLY. OREGON® PRODUCTS ARE NOT WARRANTED AGAINST
NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, USER ABUSE, IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR IMPROPER REPAIR.
REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS
WARRANTY AND ANY APPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTY. THE REPLACEMENT WILL BE
UNDERTAKEN AS SOON AS REASONABLY POSSIBLE AFTER RECEIPT OF THE DEFECTIVE
PRODUCT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT IS
LIMITED TO THE DURATION AND SCOPE OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. OCSG SHALL NOT
BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT
ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR DO NOT ALLOW
THE EXCLUSION OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION
MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES THE ORIGINAL OWNER SPECIFIC LEGAL
RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
OPTIONAL OEM VOID PROTECTION – If an original equipment manufacturer (“OEM”)
refuses to honor the OEMʼs written warranty solely because you have purchased and used
Oregon® replacement parts in the OEMʼs product, then Oregon Cutting Systems Group will allow
you to substitute the rights and remedies provided to you under the OEMʼs written warranty for this
express limited warranty. To be eligible for this optional OEM warranty, you must obtain from the
OEM and provide to Oregon Cutting Systems Group written confirmation from the OEM that it,
the OEM, has refused to honor the OEM written warranty solely because you purchased and
used Oregon® replacement parts in the OEMʼs product.
