He started at Odin Teatret in 1971 and has acted in 15 of Eugenio Barba’s main performances as well as teaching and directing performances worldwide. In 1987 Tage created his own company, Yorick Teatret, and spent ten years away from Odin Teatret, teaching at the Nordisk Teater Skole in Århus and working as a freelance actor with Teater La Balance and Cantabile 2. In 1997 he returned to Odin Teatret. He still acts and directs performances outside Odin Teatret and gives workshops for actors all over the world. He regularly creates and directs the main performance during Holstebro Festuge (Festive Week) and has directed Madame Bovary with Anna Lica (Denmark); Ali og den forunderlige ånd with emigrants and refugees (Denmark); The Starry Messenger with Donald Kitt (Canada); Bim Bum Bang! with Elena Vanni (Italy); Lady Swettenham with Sabera Shaik of Masakini Theatre Company (Malaysia); Sancho Panza e non Chisciotte with Mario Barzaghi of Teatro Dell'Albero (Italy); Othello with Masakini Theatre Company and Jabatan Kebudayaan Dan Kesenian Negara (Malaysia). Nikola Kodjabashia is considered to be one of the most eminent representatives of the Balkan and East European musical avant-guard and composer of 4 critically acclaimed albums, REVERIES OF A SOLITARY WALKER, MOST OF NOW, EXPLOSION OF A MEMORY, PENELOPE X, released by ReR, described by the Guardian as “one of the most adventurous and coherent of avant-rock labels". He has scored music for numerous internationally acclaimed and award winning theatre productions at the National Theatre, Young Vic, Donmar Warehouse, Old Vic Theatre. Other commissions include scores for La Biennale de Venezia 2004, BBC Singers 2010, numerous scores for BBC TV and Radio 2005/10. "You can go your own way. She acted in four of Eugenio Barba’s main performances including Ophelia in Ur-Hamlet at Elsinore Castle. She works internationally teaching actor's training and directing performances most recently for Guimaraes 2012 European Capital of Culture, The Freedom Theatre Palestine, Havana International Theatre Festival in Cuba, Hilton Arts Festival in South Africa, Aarohan Theatre in Nepal and 14th Bharat Rang Mahotsav Festival in Delhi. In London she has worked at Royal Opera House and ROH2, The National Theatre Studio, Young Vic Theatre, Secret Cinema, Unicorn and GDIF 2012 Greenwich Festival as well as being an associate and choreographer for Company of Angels. She directed the new opera WE ARE SHADOWS for Spitalfields Music Festival ('Extraordinary', 5* The Times and winner of 2012 RPS Award) and is director of Riotous Company. Irene Cioni is an Italian-born London-based dancer and actor. She has a background in ballet and contemporary dance. For the past 10 years she has worked professionally as a performer and dance maker between Italy, Denmark and England. She co-founded Hopballehus Ensemble devising and performing large scale theatre works, which toured in Norway, Denmark and Argentina. In London her dance work Aquarium was defined by the press as 'simple yet exquisite; a satisfying, fresh and forward thinking work', The Place. As an actor in U.K she works in commercial, viral, film and video amongst others with directors Paul Gay, Cathy Sheehan, Eliza Schroeder, Adam Coop; she is an associate of Riotous Company performing in We Are Shadows (RPS Award 2012) and interactive theatre Secret Cinema's The Third Man, Bugsy Malone, Prometheus ('we long to hear her lilting Italian accent once more' Hollywood News). Irene trained at Scuola Del Balletto Di Toscana and Theatre School Of Amsterdam (2000-04).
