The Tyrolean Alps have always been seen as a place people long for. In summer
as in winter, they reveal a beauty which seems out of this world. For many
years now, the holiday region Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has been climbing onto the
podium in the rankings for the best holiday destinations! Up on the high plateau,
at an altitude of 1,200 to just under 3,000 metres, you’ll find pristine nature and
romantic hiking trails as well as optimally groomed slopes, state-of-the-art lifts
and adventure worlds to play and frolic in. Each of the three villages has its
very own charm, yet they also have so much in common – such as their prominent location above Inntal valley, an innovative service structure and mountain
slopes which in winter resemble an arena for snow and in summer a monumental adventure playground. Yet relaxation and moments of quiet reflection are
also found aplenty. Relaxation, enjoyment and variety take top priority in
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.

This Rhaeto-Romanic mountain village has retained its original character and
impresses with unbeatable infrastructure: The village centre, traffic-calmed
with an “encounter-zone”, lets pedestrians breathe a sigh of relief. This makes
the short walk to the lift or a shopping stroll even more relaxed. The underground train brings guests from their accommodation to the lift and back in a
jiffy, and in summer rental bicycles are available at central locations. Highlights
for families in winter include the Murmli Park and the Kinderschneealm. In
summer, Murmli Water, Hög Adventure Park, Family Coaster Schneisenfeger
and lots more make hearts leap for joy.

Fiss also oozes the charm of a Rhaeto-Romanic clustered village thanks to its
600-year old centre with its unique house entrances. Fiss is also seen as a
pioneer in the Alps in terms of fun and action, e.g. with the trails by the
Waldbahn cable car: where in summer downhill bikers zoom past in the
Bikepark, daring winter sports fans dash across banked curves and obstacles.
Families appreciate the proximity to the lifts and the extensive entertainment and
learning programme for children, such as the newly opened Berta’s Kindervilla
and Bertas Kinderland in winter. All around Möseralm alpine inn, aerial attractions amaze holidaymakers at all times of the year, and in summer the SummerFunpark also beckons.

Winter service Wednesday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
and at the Nightflow event from 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
In Ladis, history comes alive. The smallest of the three villages abounds with
history: farmhouses with fresco paintings and outside staircases, carved gable
struts, historic ovens and barrel fountains as well as Laudeck Castle characterise
the Rhaeto-Romanic townscape to this day. Yet there’s no shortage of comfortability, luxury and entertainment, either. Ladis is the perfect retreat for holidaymakers with high expectations. Like everywhere in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the next
lift is not far away. The interactive village tour by smartphone makes for an
entertaining few hours.

mysteries. “The Crashed Plane”, “The Witches’ Trail” and “The Explorers Trail”
– these are the names of the three adventure mountains by Thomas C. Brezina

Local Heritage
Local costume and heritage are still anchored in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. This is
proven by the local Music Bands and rifle clubs whose beginnings go back
to the Tyrolean Rebellion. These ensembles are partaking at every festival, as
well as the local population. Church festivals such as Corpus Christi, Holy
Days of Obligation or the Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus are always
celebrated with processions. Concerts of the Music Bands of Serfaus, Fiss and
Ladis take place in summer. Please note the details indicated on local posters
and the weekly programme.
The Fiss “Blochziehen” and the children’s “Blochziehen” ceremony takes
place every two years alternatingly.
