What Makes Damminix®

This remarkable solution consists of
biodegradable cardboard tubes filled with
permethrin treated cotton. Tubes are placed
in areas of mouse habitat - ground cover,
rock walls, and wood piles. Mice collect the
cotton from the tubes for bedding. Through
natural nesting instincts, permethrin from
the cotton is released onto the animal’s
fur. Deer ticks that feed on mice in the
Spring and late Summer are exposed to
the permethrin and killed before they can
spread Lyme disease to you, your family
and your pets. All the while, the mice, other
mammals and your lands are unharmed and
undisturbed.
It is well known that deer spread ticks
infected with Lyme disease. Little known
however is that Deer ticks actually contract
Lyme disease from mice, not deer. The key
to protecting against Lyme is controlling
your exposure to these ticks.
