Your track is delivered with minimal assembly required. In some cases, your track may be delivered in sections for ease in handling. You may have to preassemble two sections to create a track side. Be certain to verify that each side of your preassembly has the same number of track pads. Disassembly Instructions 4. Drive the skid steer slowly backward off the track. 2. Assemble the two components for each side of the track, fastening the links with the bolts provided. 3. Lay the track out as pictured. Remember - Verify that each side has the same amount of track pads! 4. Drive the skid steer onto the track. 5. Repeat the procedure for the other side. The track sections are now ready to be rolled and stored until they are re-installed. Thank you for selecting... Visit us at www.tracksplus.com! Disassembly Instructions 1. Loosen and remove two bolts from the assembly. Let the track drop on the tires. Mounting Instructions 5. Stop when the back wheel of the skid steer passes the first track pad. 6. Pull the front of the track over the front wheel, taking up as much slack as possible. Check for clearance! Remember any modifications to the skid steer that are necessary are the responsibility of the owner. 2. Replace the bolts and nuts to the links to prevent misplacing them. 3. Pull the track off the front tire and lay it on the ground. 7. Attach a common come-along (obtained at any hardware store) to both ends of the track. Ratchet any slack. Mounting Instructions 8. Drive the skid steer forward to bring the back of the track to the middle position as shown. 9. Attach the come-along to the underside of the track on both ends through the bottom opening of the second track. This will provide the most even joining of the track sections. 10. Ratchet the come-along until the linkage lines up with the mounting hole of the other track. Insert the bolt and hand tighten the locknut. 11. Loosen the come-along. Slide the come-along to the far side of the track. Ratchet the come-along until the linkage lines up with the mounting hole. Insert the bolt and hand tighten the locknut. Mounting Instructions 12. Check to make sure there is 1½-3 inches of slack in the track. Linkages of one or more track pads can be adjusted to obtain this measurement. When you obtain the desired amount of slack, tighten bolts from the assembly and any adjustment made. 13. Release the come-along from the track. 14. When finished, repeat the procedure for the other side of the skid steer. It may be timesaving to make any adjustments before you begin, but it is possible that wear and size may not be identical.
