The Alliance MULTIUSE 550 industrial tire series
is engineered for tough applications on machines
such as backhoe loaders, industrial tractors,
compact construction machines, municipality
tractors, specialized farm equipments, forestry
machines, and wide range of other applications.
The MULTIUSE 550 series provides uncompromising
performance on a variety of surfaces and climatic
conditions. These characteristics are ideally suited
for tractors and machines that have multiple roles
to play throughout a year.
This is very apparent in case of machines like a
Municipality Tractor which has to work in varied
surfaces, ranging from hard tarmac and concrete to
soft terrains of construction sites or road building
locations. They have to work on slush, sandy
surfaces and drive on snow and ice covered terrain
during winter.
With a high rubber-to-void ratio and large number
of tread blocks, the MULTIUSE 550 tread is perfect
for asphalt and hard surface applications. Block
design and tread pattern ensures exceptional
performance on all surfaces. Its special tread
compound gives it a clear performance edge over
competition by lasting much longer.

Tests, Results, and Conclusions
In addition to the routine QA and engineering tests
that every ATG tire goes through, field trials and
tests were also done against leading competition
products. The tests were performed in Finland
by SO Engineering, an independent automotive
testing and consulting company.
Tests were done in both winter and summer
conditions. Summer tests were done in Vihti, Finland.
The tires were tested on public roads and on special
test tracks at MTT Agricultural Technology Research
Centre. Winter tests were done in Hyrynsalmi,
Finland, at “Ajohalla”, a winter testing track.

11% superior than the competition.

Satisfied Customers Report
Mounted on a Claas 410 municipal tractor,
the MULTIUSE 550 are found as optimal
tires for road maintenance (snow removal,
roadsides cleaning, etc.) tasks in the city of
Zell an der Mosel, Germany.
Mr. Meier, the operator reports an overall satisfaction
after the use of tires: “ They are comfortable, provide
enough traction for the snow removal work and are
more stables on curves and corners”.
Stability during cornering is an especially important
characteristic for municipality tractors which drive
in the streets and travel at relatively higher speeds.
The MULTIUSE 550 provides superior grip and vehicle
stability and control thereby reducing chances of
accidents considerably.
With over 2700 working hours, mainly on
hard surfaces (asphalt, packed snow, ice,
etc.), the Alliance MULTIUSE 550 tires are
still in their best usable condition. The tires
are mounted on a Valtra N141 utility tractor
at the Finnish M-Real paper mill.
The main tasks for this machine are mainly loading
& transporting ash and wood bark, and snow
ploughing during the winter time. The tractor drives
with a 18 ton trailer most of the time.
MULTIUSE 550 tires are mounted on the
utility tractor at the Hippodrome De
Longchamp near Paris, France. The tractor
is used to rake and clean the racetrack at
the hippodrome.

Mr.
Gagnaire
the
tractor
operator having more than 12 years of
experience, the tires provide outstanding
comfort and improved overall performance of
the tractor.
