Penns Woods will once again be selling the Calendar Ticket.
If you can help in any way selling – we greatly appreciate your help!!
During the month of August you will be able to reserve a particular
“number”
The calendar ticket winning numbers is the number from the
7 PM Pennsylvania Lottery.
These reserved tickets must be paid for no later than
September 30, 2015.
Any numbers not reserved by September 1st
will be available for sale at that time.

POLICE REPORT—Chief Lisiecki—Month of June 2015:

Made 61 other Criminal Arrests • Handled 35 Vehicle Accidents, of
which 23 were reportable, with 0 fatalities • The Patrol fleet traveled

PENNS WOODS CIVIC ASSOCIATION JULY 2015 MINUTES
The July Meeting came to order with 12 Board Members in attendance. Minutes
for the June meeting were read by assistant secretary, Valerie Sabo. Motion to
accept minutes was made by Gerry Moran, seconded by Mike Stepansky and
were passed.
Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report was read by Bob Sadusky. Motion to accept by Traci Kellar
and seconded by Dan Sedlock and was passed.
Membership
Bob Sadusky reported that we received two new memberships.
Paid Ads
Traci Kellar reported that we have 2 new paid ads.
Fireworks
It was the consensus that this year’s fireworks display was the best one yet!
Let’s hope to have good support for next year.
Bereavements
Our sympathies go out to the Freer family on Colonial Manor Rd. for the
passing of Betty.
Senior Citizens
Gert Kohler reported that the seniors went to King’s restaurant and that things
are status quo.
Spaghetti Dinner
Bob Stone reminded everyone to come out and support the spaghetti dinner held
the third Friday of every month. Donations for desserts are always welcome.
Campbell’s Court
Mike Stepansky reported that the plumbing issues have been resolved.
Building
Bob Stone reported that the floors have been refinished in both the main
building and teen center. Don Zeiller replaced some light bulbs.
Yard Sale
The annual Penn’s Woods Yard sale is scheduled for Sat., August. 15. Signs
advertising the yard sale will be going up next week.
Night Under the Stars
Mail reservation to Christine McCormack for Night Under the Stars by Aug. 1st.
Fall Social
The Fall Social will be held Sat., November 7. Mail in your reservations.
Calendar Ticket
Jeff Feryus reported that the new 2016 calendar tickets will be ready soon. Be
sure to get your favorite numbers!
Gun Bash
Gun Bash is set for Sun., October 4th at the PWCA building. This event will be
catered by Stratigos. Details and ticket info will follow in upcoming issues of
the PWCA newsletter.
Municipal Report
A meeting is scheduled for Wednesday. August 19.
