In 1992 Margo and her husband Jim moved to Amador County, she obtained her license as a painting contractor and started her business, A Lady Painter! ACWN was instrumental in introducing her to the community, building many long standing relationships, not the least, with Karen Towns her hair stylist for 22 years now. Margo returned this year to ACWN to renew old acquaintances and meet new friends. Besides residential painting Margo has many alternative wall treatments, attending workshops all over the country keep her on the cutting edge of interior decoration. She also is a member of the Amador County Artist Association, a supervisor of the Fine Art & Photo Department at the Amador County Fair and after volunteering with set designs for many years is now a judge for the Volcano Theatre Company. Margo lives in Volcano where she and Jim maintain flower & vegetable gardens on acreage where they have designed & built their home. She loves to spend time with family, especially her two grandsons who live in Ione and with her energetic Giant Schnoodle, Zerena. A Lady Painter has been decorating homes in Amador County for 22 years and she is very grateful for the all of support from this community! So if you are looking for a change, have Margo give you some fresh decorating ideas, that’s her passion, color & design! Her natural artistic talent brings a unique spark of creative design to her jobs. Call her, consulting is a cornerstone to her business!
