CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: The Lord said go North, to protest Nineveh’s wickedness.
People: But Jonah went South, to hide from the Lord.
Leader: The Lord hurled a storm to wake Jonah to his ministry.
People: But the prophet chose sleep in the hull of the ship.
Leader: The Lord could have slain them, but He withheld His judgment.
People: He calmed the big storm and sent Jonah a great fish.
Leader: The sailors were grateful and worshiped the Mighty One.
