Summer Reading brings pets, puppets, and reptiles to your local library
Our Summer Reading Program continues in July, and as always, we’ve got some great events
planned. Here are a few to ponder. There are lots more.
Pet a pooch or two at the Choctaw Branch
Take the family out to the Choctaw Branch at 10:30 a.m. on July 9 for a
lesson in pet care and pet owner responsibility and pet a few cute critters
while you’re there. This program is free and open to the public.
Yay, reptiles! They’re everywhere...
Get up close and personal (or as close as you’d like) to a caiman crocodile,
monitor lizards, turtles, and snakes when Party with Reptiles visits your local
branch. Check out Page 2 for dates and times. It’s free and open to the public.
Audubon Wetland Wildlife Express comes to Thibodaux
The Audubon Zoo’s Wetland Wildlife Express will teach children about
wetlands and the creatures that inhabit them during its visit to the Thibodaux
