Women2Web is pleased to announce its second series of FREE sessions starting in January 2015.
The sessions have been designed to meet the demand outlined during our first round or sessions and includes:
LinkedIn Advanced Session
15th January, 10am - 1pm
Evesham
This session is designed to help people
who already have a working knowledge
of Linkedin to become expert users.
Online Marketing
28th January, 10am - 1pm
Redditch
This session will provide an overview
of all Social Media, Blogging, Vlogging
and will give you the tools needed to
develop an online marketing strategy.
Online Trading
3rd February, 10am - 1pm
Malvern
This session is designed to inform users
about the forums for selling online
including, Ebay, Etsy, Amazon and
Facebook stores. It will also include
a session on market research, using
paypal/worldpay and online security.
Software Tools for Business Owners
4th February, 10am - 1pm
Droitwich
This is session will provide an
overview of software that is available
for business. Project Management
Software, Sage Vs Other Accounting
Software, Social Media Scheduling,
Skype for virtual meetings, Paypal &
what to look for when buying Tech
Support.
Facebook Advanced Session
11th February, 10am - 1pm
Bewdley
This session is designed for those
people who already have a working
knowledge of Facebook and will
include other associated media
platforms including Pinterest and
Instagram. As well as scheduling tools.
This session will be especially useful for
those in creative industries.
Twitter Advanced Session
18th February, 10am - 1pm
Kidderminster
This session is designed for those
people who already have a working
knowledge of Twitter and will cover
some expert top tips including how to
search, best ways to use it & scheduling
tweets.
Social Media for Beginners
26th February, 10am - 1pm
Upton
This session is designed for people with
little or no knowledge of social media.
You will come out of the session
with an understanding of how to use
the three main social media sites,
Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin and if
it is suitable for your type of Business.
By the end of the session, you will have
set up an account and understand how
to use it.
Website Creation and Maintenance
12th March – Worcester
Creation 10am - 12:30pm
Maintenance 1pm - 3:30pm with
Networking for both sessions
12:30pm - 1pm.
This double session will outline the
platforms that can be used for creating
a website and talk you through the
basics of setting up your site. The
afternoon session will then go onto
maintenance of a site and how to make
your site stand out.
This session can be booked as one
whole day or as two separate sessions.
If you wish to book the whole day, you
need to book twice on the booking
system. Please bring your own lunch.
Search Engine Optimisation and
Online Presence
March (day & time tbc)
Pershore
This session will look at how businesses
can maximise their online presence and
the tricks of search engine optimisation.
Superfast Broadband
27th January, 10am - 1pm
Worcester
This session is designed to increase
awareness of the benefits of Superfast
Broadband to business within
Worcestershire. This is an opportunity
to meet the Superfast team and ask any
questions you may have.

All sessions unless otherwise stated
include 2.5 hours of training and 30
minutes of networking.
These sessions are worth £75 per
person, per session, so we would
ask that if you have booked on
but can no longer attend that you
let us know in advance. Sessions
are limited to 3 per person but
you can register with ljeynes@
worcestershire.gov.uk to be put on
a waiting list for additional sessions.

Computing for Work
22nd January, Tenbury
24th February, Bewdley
This course is a great all-rounder to learn or refresh IT skills
with a focus on Microsoft.
Advanced Computer Skills
12th February, Malvern
19th March, Bromsgrove
This is an advanced session which will give you skills in
using the Microsoft Office Suite.
Women2Web is also working with a number of other partners who can offer additional support to complement our free
offer. Although these sessions are not women only, they do cover a range of topics that we feel you will find beneficial:
Digital Essentials

Skills Support for the Workforce:
This scheme offers learners free training and a qualification on a range of topics from ICT to Leadership and Management.
