Premier "Teacher Appreciation Day" célébré à Ortega le 23 mai pour remercier
les enseignants et toutes les équipes du Lycée.
Au menu, un déjeuner préparé par les parents et enfants d’Ortega : pissaladière, salades et
quiches maison, fromages, gâteaux, fruits de saison…
Le lycée avait un air de fête grâce aux dessins et aux témoignages des enfants, sans oublier les
ballons, les magnifiques bouquets de fleurs et plantes offerts aux enseignants
avec les généreuses donations de nombreux parents.
Les équipes d’Ortega ont été très touchées par cette célébration :

First "Teacher Appreciation Day" celebrated at Ortega on May 23rd to thank
the teachers and all the staff members of the Lycée.
On the menu, a lunch prepared by the parents and children of Ortega: pissaladières (special tart
from Nice), salads, homemade quiches, an assortment of cheeses, cakes, fresh seasonal fruits...
The Lycée had a festive ambiance thanks to the drawings and testimonials of the children as well
as the balloons, magnificent bouquets of flowers and plants made possible by the generous
donations of many parents.

With special thanks to:
o Stéphane Meloni (father of Enzo, 6th grade) and owner of the restaurant Castagna. He helped us
impress the teachers and staff with his delicious food contributions.
o Jenny Phillips & Farzaneh Manoit (mothers in 7th grade) of who prepared celebratory posters and
banners with the students;
o the 20 volunteer parents from all grades who came to set up, decorate and organize the meal on
the day of the party.
