The Bellevue Farmers Market will be open throughout the event. The Village of Bellevue is continuing its partnership
with the Battle Creek Farmers Market Association to have a local farmers market. You can find the association online at
http://www.battlecreekfarmersmarket.com or its Facebook page.
The market participates with Project FRESH and Senior Project FRESH. It can accept Bridge Cards, Double Up Bucks, and
credit cards.
A bounce house from Fun Services will be open to the events younger attendees from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00
p.m. The playground with swings, a slide, teeter totters, and spring toys are there for our younger
community member’s enjoyment.
Band Biographies:
HARVEST
Dave Erickson, Bob Russell, and Jim Blankenship make up this acoustic group. Dave and Jim have been playing together
off and on since the 70’s, and started playing as the group “HARVEST’ in the early 80’s and still go by that name. By
coincidence, we were afforded the opportunity for a reunion about a year ago and started where we had left off. We met
Bob while playing out several months ago and he added Dobro, another vocal, and diversity to our arrangements for guitar,
harmonica, flute, and banjo. We don’t restrict ourselves to any specific genre, and simply play songs we all enjoy.
Kayleigh Dawn
Kayleigh Dawn, a seventeen year old Junior of Bellevue High School, loves singing and playing guitar
for friends, family and local fans. She has performed at: Hannah Center, The Pines, the Eagles, and
Ingham County Fairgrounds in Lansing, Michigan, Marshall Music Concerts in East Lansing, Michigan,
Eaton County Fairgrounds, the Eagles, and EISD dances in Charlotte, Michigan, Grand Ledge High School
and farmer’s markets in Grand Ledge, Michigan, the Dyerhart studio in Bellevue, Michigan, and Eagles
Nest in Olivet, Michigan. Kayleigh began performing at two years old in competition dance and started
her singing performances locally at the Dyerhart studio. She is currently in the process of writing, recording and copywriting
her first album. Kayleigh plans to continue her musical development pursuing study and a future career in Music Therapy
and Music Composition. Kayleigh is looking forward to celebrating with her home town on this special day!
Bellevue High School Drama Club:
The Bellevue High School Drama Club will be performing three skits. They will be The Miley Cyrus Show, Flight
Attendants, and Child Psychologist. All 3 skits are modified from Saturday Night Live. Brandy Shooks, the drama director,
will be present to introduce each skit. The students in the skits will be:
