The holiday prices include return
group airfares with Jetstar and Virgin

not playing bridge the holiday costs
with flights and transfers are $1895
for a twin or double booking and
$2670 for a single booking. Subtract a
further $315 if you are providing your
own flights and transfers.
Once our group booking is filled we
will book the best available internet
airfares with Jetstar and Virgin
Australia and the holiday prices may
rise to include these airfares.
Accommodation for players wishing to
extend their stay before or after the
holiday is available at $285 per Studio
Room per night. This room rate must
be booked through Bridge Away.
Passengers travelling on the group
flights will be transferred by coach
from the Sunshine Coast Airport to
the Sheraton Noosa Resort. The
coach transfer takes 35 minutes.
You may attend the bridge holiday
without staying at the Sheraton. The
holiday price with all bridge lessons
and sessions but without flights,
transfers and accommodation is
$595. Players not staying in the
Sheraton are ineligible for the prize
for the 2017 Noosa Bridge Holiday.

The cost of these airfares and the
cost of transfers to meet these flights
will be advised at the time of booking.
If you are providing your own flights
and transfers, or driving to Noosa,
then subtract $315 from the holiday
prices. If you have booked your own
flights you can join our transfers for
$20 each way.
A deposit of $300 per person is
required when booking. Deposits are
fully refundable for cancellations
made by 17 March 2016. After this
date cancellations will incur loss of
deposit plus any cancellation charges
levied by Jetstar, Virgin Australia and
Sheraton Noosa Resort. Information
about travel insurance will be sent to
you on receipt of your booking. Final
payment is due by 17 March 2016.

activity not taken up or resulting from

his is going to be Australia’s best
bridge holiday at one of
Queensland’s most luxurious resorts.
The staff at the Sheraton Noosa
Resort have gone into special
training, the Noosa shops have
ordered in extra stock and John
Roberts is preparing fascinating new
lessons for a week of good bridge and
good food.
The hotel has the usual five-star
facilities and guest services, including
a large heated swimming pool, stateof-the-art fitness centre with sauna,
several bars, 24-hour room service,
an internet lounge and bottle shop. A
full range of beauty and health
treatments is available in the hotel’s
luxury Aqua Day Spa. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner are served at the
Sheraton’s Noosa Beach House
Restaurant and Bar featuring
wonderful food by renowned chef and
Noosa resident Peter Kuruvita.

With the Noosa River on one side,
and Noosa’s fashionable Hastings

experience. There is plenty of bridge
with lessons most mornings and
duplicates most afternoons and every
evening. All duplicates will have predealt boards and hand records.

You can play as much or as little as
you wish. There will be players
coming on the holiday on their own so
you can always turn up to a session
without a partner and have a game.

Immediately adjacent to the resort
there are elegant boutiques to visit
and wonderful restaurants to try. On
Hastings Street you can buy
ever ything from T -shirts and
swimwear to designer outfits and
expensive jewellery. Within a few
minutes walk of the hotel there are a
number of outdoor cafés and superb
restaurants offering a full range of
gourmet experiences.
For those looking to tour the area,
nearby attractions include the Noosa
Everglades, Rainbow Beach, Fraser
Island and Montville in Noosa’s
beautiful hinterland. The hotel’s
concierge can book tours and
activities, including golf at one of the
five nearby golf courses.

Duplicate session
For players who wish to learn some
new strategies there is a series of four
interesting intermediate lessons.
Masterpoints will be awarded in all
sessions, including red masterpoints
in some events. Prizes will be
awarded to session winners.
On Saturday evening there will be a
prizegiving followed by a gala seafood
buffet dinner and a duplicate session.
At the prizegiving one lucky player will
win a free bridge holiday to Noosa in
2017.
# There is no lesson on Saturday as there is a
trip to Eumundi Markets and no duplicate on
Wednesday afternoon as we have lunch at
Rump House.
The Sheraton Noosa Resort has a
$25 full buffet breakfast special for
members of the Bridge Away group.
Members of the Bridge Away group
will also receive a discount voucher
for the Aqua Day Spa and a dining
card that provides a 10% discount for
lunches, dinners and beverages
purchased at the resort’s bars and
restaurants.
The hotel has one-bedroom Pool
Villas and one-bedroom Noosa Suites
