Clambake on Cabbage Island
We will depart to Boothbay Harbor,
Maine for a unique Clambake feast on
Cabbage Island. At Boothbay Harbor
we’ll board the “Bennie Alice” for a
narrated cruise of the harbor. As we
cruise along Maine’s quaint and
picturesque coastline you can view
lighthouses, seals, ospreys, and
fisherman hauling in their traps.
We disembark at Cabbage Island in
Linekin Bay for a succulent feast
consisting of two luscious Maine
lobsters, a steaming cup of traditional
New England fish chowder, tender
white steamed clams, sweet golden
corn on the cob, Maine potatoes,
onions, rolls & butter, blueberry crumb
cake, with coffee or iced tea. The
“Original Clambake of Boothbay
Harbor” is cooked in seaweed, steamed from top to bottom, covered
with tarpaulins and rocks in order to capture all the flavor.
Cabbage Island is 5 ½ acres of
unparalleled beauty in the heart of
Linekin Bay. There are panoramic
scenes to delight artists as well as
those craving quiet relaxation. The
