MEET OUR NEW VICE PRESIDENT FOR INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) has named Rosanne Palacios as its Vice President for Institutional Advancement. TAMIU president Ray Keck said Palacios would lead all the University’s fundraising efforts, crucial to its continued success. “While the University has benefited mightily from the historic leadership and funding vision of our State Legislature, their vision for higher education has been expanded and strengthened through the broad-based philanthropy of countless donors and partners here in Laredo and beyond. This support has been crucial to our endowment, student scholarship, faculty support and research and construction and campus improvements. “Rosanne’s formidable linkages to our community, history of service and impressive spectrum of fundraising experience will be a tremendous asset to TAMIU as we approach our 45th year of service and success. We are blessed to have her leadership at The International U,” Dr. Keck said. Read more here. A.R. SANCHEZ SR.
