a reality and Boulangerie de France
opened for business in Australia! Our
customers love us and our Franchisees

of using only natural ingredients, and
that’s why our breads contain no fat,
no sugar and certainly no preservatives.

almost a decade.

Through their involvement with
international franchise chains,
our Directors have gained vast
experienceandavaluableknowledge
of franchised operations.
Fast forward to 2015 and the
Boulangerie de France system is
nely tuned. With two corporate
franchised stores,
stores and
our brand is poised for rapid growth.
From humble beginnings in 2003,
the Directors created Boulangerie
de France with three company
stores in Sydney’s CBD, Melbourne’s
CBD and Wes eld Miranda in
Sydney, with a combined turnover
of almost $5m p.a.
New stores are in planning for
Melbourne and Sydney over the next
12 months, with expansion into
other regions of Australia to follow.

PRODUCT RANGE
Our product range is at the heart of what we do and it is our
connection to our brand that drives our bottom line.
Our core product offer is noted below.
BAGUETTES & B READ
Our bread is baked on site daily,
throughout the day. Product is sourced
from local suppliers and we have
preferred supplier agreements to ensure
consistency of supply. The baguettes
and breads are baked to Boulangerie de
France specifications ensuring breads
of authentic French tradition.
BAGUETTE S ANDWICHES
When it comes to sandwiches you just
can’t beat the French baguette. At
the core of the Boulangerie de France
operation are our baked on premises
baguettes, made to order with the
customer’s choice of fillings. Baguette
Sandwich Artist’s are more than happy
to follow customer requests, or to
make recommendations.
CREPES
We couldn’t be a French café without
crepes! Our crepes are prepared to order,
providing in store theatre and are a strong
point of difference.
PASTRIES
We produce in-store, a beautiful range
of pastries that literally transport you
from wherever you are right into some
gorgeous little Parisian street!
SIGNATURE S ERIES
We have recently launched a signature
series highlighting the popularity
and premium taste of our mix range.
Our chicken mix is unbeatable, our
customers can’t get enough of it and
our Tuna mix comes a close second.

COFFEE
We serve our signature Boulangerie de
France coffee made with hand selected
beans from AAA grade Ethiopian,
Costa Rican and Brazilian beans. Our
contractual agreement with suppliers
confirms pricing and supply for the
next four years. The blend is an ultra
- premium grade blend produced,
bagged and delivered by Grinders Coffee.
COLD DRINKS
We maintain exclusive agreements with
our drink suppliers that guarantees
exceptional pricing for all franchisees
for the next three years.

Our Franchised System
Ongoing Support and Guidance.
Boulangerie de France provides support
and assistance to our franchisees at all
times. The franchise support centre boasts
a dedicated team of operational, financial
and human resource skilled employees to
guide and advise.
Your franchise business manager is there
to guide you in all areas of the business
including the setup of your new store.
They will also provide you with continuous
follow-up and support in all retail
standards, business planning, marketing
and human resources operations.
Regular visits by your franchise business
manager to you store will assist you to stay
on top of operational and customer service
issues and maintain a well presented and
marketed store.
MARKETING
We recognise the importance of Marketing and
have recently commissioned a marketing firm
to manage our program. We have a number of
ongoing brand campaigns that we are working
on, as well as in-store activity. We are open
to new ideas and encourage input from our
franchisees’.
INDUCTION AND TRAINING
Once you have joined the Boulangerie de France
franchiseteam,youareprovidedwithanextensive
training program at an existing Boulangerie de
France store as well as on-site training in your
own store.
You will also be trained to become a fully
qualified barista and will also receive classroom
training and guidance in financial and food and
safety procedures.
As part of your training, you will complete a short
financial course and most importantly you will
also complete a Food Safety Officer certificate.
Ourcompetencybasedtrainingprogramisdesigned
to motivate new franchisees on how to operate
a Boulangerie de France business and achieve
optimum success.

KEY INVESTMENT
If you’re interested in investing in a future with Boulangerie de France,
here’s an outline of some of the costs involved:
FRANCHISE COSTS
New Store Cost
From $250,000 inc. GST*. This
includes the planning costs, shop
fit costs and all equipment.
Franchise Fee
The fee for a new store for the
first five year term is $44,000.00
inc. GST. A renewal fee is not
applicable.
Training Fee
The fee for 4-6 weeks of training
is $11,000 inc. GST.
Franchise Royalty Fee
5% of net sales turnover.
Marketing Fund Contribution
2% of net sales turnover.
Initial Working Capital
Approximately $5,000 - $10,000
(unencumbered).
*Please note that this is an
approximate figure for a new
store.
OTHER POINTS TO NOTE
Rent
Boulangerie de France will
negotiate the lease on your
behalf to obtain the best possible
outcome.
Stamp Duty
May be payable on the lease
for the premises, the license to
occupy and on the purchase of the
established business, subject to
relevant state legislation.

NEXT STEP
The idea of coming on board as a Franchisee excites you, so now it’s

HERE ARE T HE STEPS
Step 1
Submit your Expression of Interest and/or Application form.
Have an initial interview with Boulangerie de France.
Step 2
Receive disclosure document, which must be in possession for 14 days.
Pay the initial deposit.
Step 3
Complete and return signed Disclosure Document after the 14 day
cooling off period.
Step 4
Attend final interview with Boulangerie de France Franchise
Recruitment Consultant.
Agree on appropriate Boulangerie de France site.
Take receipt of Boulangerie de France Franchise Agreement.
Step 5
Seek independent legal advice for the Franchise Agreement.
Both parties agree to proceed.
Step 6
Pay balance of Franchise Fee.
Set training and store opening dates.
