Attraverso i preziosi cammei delle raccolte museali e una importante donazione di stampe è possibile mettere a fuoco la passione per il viaggio e
la ricerca di oggetti preziosi che orientavano le
scelte del conte Gian Battista Sommariva. Viene
proposta per la prima volta una selezionata scelta di tavole tratte dal volume Viaggio nel basso
e alto Egitto dovuto all’illustre Dominique Vivant
Denon primo direttore del Louvre.

Gian Battista Sommariva’s passion for travelling
and precious objects is shown here by the cameos collection and the important ancient prints bequest. Thanks to Dominique Vivant Denon, the first
director of the Louvre in Paris, it is now possible to
admire representations from the volume Tour into
upper and lower Egypt.

Essensé presents its natural line of cosmetics made
of high quality biological raw materials, extra virgin
olive oil and lavender essential oil. The company is
today experimenting with the original handcrafted processes of plantation, cutting and distillation

century.

delle nuvole, l’artista propone una riflessione sul mutamento e la metamorfosi concepiti come metafora
dell’esistenza umana. Insieme alle opere sono esposti
materiali relativi allo studio della meteorologia, fisica,
astronomia e cristallografia.

Giampiero Reverberi. Through the studies of clouds,
the artist reflects on the change and metamorphosis

The Lilà hand weaving studio explores the infinite possibilities in the world of textiles, with a
focus on games made by the juxtaposition of
colours. By using ancient wooden looms, Lilà
creates unique handmade works with wool,
silk and cashmere fine yarns.

raccolti e sgranati a mano da esperti artigiani.

Italian company that exhibits products made
by biological plantation, essential oil making
and lavender flowers picked up and shelled

mass-media, i social media, la politica, i conflitti, la pubblicità, i fumetti, i videogiochi, i film.
Le sue tele sono costruite come grandi sinfonie
con numerosi dettagli intrecciati in uno scorrere
ritmico in cui colore e luce veicolano un comune sentire fra artista e spettatore.
This Swedish artist is inspired by the world around:
his experiences of travel, the flow of mass-media, social media, politics, conflicts, advertising,
comics, videogames and films. His paintings are
created like big symphonies with a lot of details
interlaced in a rhythmic course in which colour
and light impart a special feeling between artist
and the public.

D’acqua e di memoria. Gabriella Benedini
Sembra essere uscito dal lago il frammento della
grande barca che apre un dialogo con l’acqua e
la memoria. Sculture e arpe definiscono suggestioni sonore, i quadri bianchi, Costellazioni di vetro,
ricreano un orizzonte di cielo mentre a terra una
scultura, Canoa, sembra farsi specchio. La mostra si completa con l’“evocazione” del vento e
un’opera tonda a parete che racchiude l’eco del
mondo.
About water and memory. Gabriella Benedini
The scrap of a big boat, that seems to have come
out of the lake, prompted a dialogue between
water and memory. Sculptures and harps suggest
sounds, the white paintings, Costellazioni di vetro recreate a horizon, while a sculpture, Canoa,
seems to mirror these emotions. This exhibit is completed by a work evocative of the wind and a
round wall enclosing the echo of the world.

Laura is an artist with a great love for paper, a
poor but eclectic material and with noble origins.
It will be displayed the Chartam project: through
ancient techniques, with a contemporary point of
view, the artist gives a new life to things that otherwise would be lost.

manifesta il desiderio di esaltare il fascino che la
Natura esercita in ogni sua forma per preservarlo nel tempo.

L’artista olandese mette in risalto, nelle sue ceramiche,
quelle asimmetrie interiori che popolano l’animo umano e trascende gli ideali di classica compostezza per
trasmetterci un vissuto emozionale.
“In queste opere, ho convogliato tutta la mia immaginazione per inseguire il piacere della forma. L’espressione e la gioia che ho messo nelle mie creazioni, le rende
diverse da un semplice utensile o oggetto decorativo”.

Through her potteries, Mieke Van Den Hoogen highlights
inner asymmetries of human soul and transcends classical models to enhance the emotional experience. “In
these artworks, I direct all my imagination to experience
the pleasure of creating shapes. My creations are full of
happiness and for this reason they are different from all
other basic utensils or ornamental objects”.

Continua la collaborazione tra Villa Carlotta e
Anffas che anche quest’anno espone i manufatti decorati e realizzati dagli ospiti disabili, gli
educatori e i volontari della RSD di Grandola
ed Uniti. Tutti gli oggetti, unici, sono il risultato
di un attento lavoro di squadra mirato al coinvolgimento e alla valorizzazione di persone con
disabilità che trovano grande soddisfazione e
gratificazione nel poter creare manufatti artistici di grande livello.
The partnership between Villa Carlotta and Anffas continues: they will show us their handmade
products created by disabled people, educators and volunteers of Grandola ed Uniti RSD.
All the unique objects are the result of a careful
team work that tries to involve disabled people
and add value to their art.
