The move i n February 1995 to a mainstream
automotive manufacturing fac i l ity, previously the
N i ssan factory in Clay ton, Victoria, was pi votal
to H S V 's plans. The official openi n g a month later
was spectacular and rival led a top shel f motor
show in the scope of veh ic les on d i sp.lay.
HSV shares its new home w i t h t he Linfox
transport grorrp and the launch was an opport u n i ty
for transport magnate Li ndsay Fox to give h i s
personal col lect ion o f cars an a i ri ng. M i ngled
amongst rare Ferrari, Jaguar; Porsehe and
Mercedes-Benz models, I -I SV owners were well
represented with m i nt examples rnark ing a
seven-year heri tage.
