pm in the upstairs Chamber conference room. This is open to everyone, both Chamber members
and non-members are welcome

and leverage today's online technology without getting
overwhelmed.

One of the hallmark programs of the Lompoc
Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors
Bureau is “Leadership Lompoc Valley (LLV)”.
Over the course of the program’s year, participants partake in a number of different themed

Chamber Luncheon

The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and
Visitors Bureau is hosting a luncheon at Pizza
Garden on Thursday, October 22 from 11:30 am
to 1:00 pm. The Youth Leadership Lompoc Valley
(YLLV) class of 2015-2016 will be introduced at
the luncheon and the Chamber is seeking sponsors for the students’ lunches. Each sponsor will
be invited to give a brief introduction of their
student as they chat with them over their meal.

YLLV is a program designed to motivate and
empower a select group of high school students
through issues related seminars and interaction
with community leaders. A community collaboration led to the program's formation. The program
is an investment in the future of the Lompoc
Valley through the education of developing our
youth as community leaders.

The beautiful 15-month calendars feature photography of the
Burton Mesa Ecological Reserve taken by Jim McIntire. The
photo above shows just a sampling of the photographs
included in the calendar. As an all-volunteer committee of
the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce, Lompoc Valley
in Bloom will use the funds raised for community improvement projects that enhance public spaces, including school
gardens and parkways. Some proceeds will be shared with
the Lompoc Valley Art Association.

Chamber Directory Listing?
Chamber members have access to their online
membership directory listing at lompoc.com and can
add a business description, events, a logo, photos,
special deals, job opportunities, etc. The directory
listings include a Google map showing the location
of your business and can include a link to your
Facebook page.
If you need help revising your listing, email Chelsea
at [email protected] She can assist with
resizing and uploading your logo and/or photos and
writing a business description. If you want to update
the listing yourself and need your login credentials,
contact Chelsea for your username and password.
This login information is also what you will need to
register and pay for Chamber events online.

Check Presentation to the
Lompoc Disc Golf Committee
Part of the proceeds of the Lompoc Old Town Market
event were presented as check for $500 to the Lompoc
Disc Golf Committee on October 5. The committee intends to use the funds to make major improvements to
the Beattie Park Disc Golf Course by continuing to add
alternate pin positions on holes that had previously not
