To make the most of their meager retirement
savings, a group of British seniors moves to

Moravian sugar cookies during our ride.

This is a charity event supporting a worthy cause in our community. A Storehouse For Jesus is an
independent, non-profit Christian ministry helping those in need. The staff and volunteers seek to
make a difference in the lives of those served by providing for their spiritual, physical and health
needs. The Ladies Golf Associations and Garden Club of Bermuda Run sponsor this luncheon.

members providing care to loved ones at Bermuda Village. Dr. Edward Shaw,
physician at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, facilitates the discussion.

CHRISTMAS GIFT PACKING PARTY

Operation North State (ONS) is a non-profit organization that currently offers seven
unique military support service programs within North Carolina. Bermuda Village will
host one of several packing parties to fill Christmas Gift Boxes that will be delivered
to military personnel from North Carolina who are deployed away from home.
You may sponsor a box for $35.00 with a donation payable to
Operation North State. Bermuda Village has set a goal of $1,500 and you
may place your check in the locked box near the Front Desk.
This year, you will select a time slot during the afternoon in an effort to make the process
more efficient. You may sign up for either 1:00pm – 2:30pm OR 3:00pm – 4:30pm.

The New York-based design team for Doncaster develops three collections a year using the
finest fabrics, each inspired by both contemporary trends and timeless classics. During this
outing, you will have an opportunity to shop both the retail store (current season
merchandise) and the Tanner Warehouse Outlet (previous season fashions). Enjoy a lunch
break at Lavender Bistro, a delightful restaurant featuring French, American and Italian
dishes. Residents are responsible for their own lunch bills. Sign up for transportation

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS CAROL
Join Charles Dickens in his study in 1843 while he pens his well-loved story. He creates and
acts out 17 characters from A Christmas Carol, giving personal, social and historical context
to the classic story. Renowned Dickens scholar Elliot Engel wrote this study and David zum
Brunnen portrays Dickens in this one-man show. Residents must purchase their own tickets
by calling 751-3000, Monday through Friday, 12:00pm-5:00pm.
