Cinque Port of Rye (approximately 3 miles) or picturesque Tenterden (approximately
8 miles). Rye enjoys historic medieval associations and fine period architecture
together with a good selection of amenities which include shopping, restaurants,
public houses, sports (eg watersports and golf), with the arts being well represented.
Tenterden offers a wide selection of shops, restaurants, public houses,
supermarkets (including Waitrose), banks, various churches, doctors, dentists
together with a park and leisure centre. For education there are a good choice of
schools in the area for children of all ages, with both private and state options
available. For travel, there are regular rail services from Rye to London (via Ashford
which also offers the high speed link to St Pancras in 37 minutes and services to the
Continent via Eurostar) and the coastline. For travel by car, the M20 may accessed
at Ashford.

From our office in Tenterden High Street head
south east on the B2082 Smallhythe Road to
Wittersham and Rye. Continue through
Wittersham, taking a right turn at the Memorial
(signposted to Peasmarsh and Beckley). Pass
over the River Rother and eventually at the end
of the road you reach the A268 to Peasmarsh
and Rye. Turn left and almost immediately on
your right is the property facing the road (for
vehicular access turn right off the A268 just
before reaching the cottage – into a small lane
which will take you to the rear driveway).

please follow directions above rather than using
Sat Nav devices as these take an alternative
route which is approximately 8 miles further (via
Iden).
