Petaling Jaya aspires to become a sustainable city by 2030 and
several ground breaking initiatives have been planned and will be put
in place towards achieving this aspiration. One of the initiatives is
towards improving connectivity and mobility throughout Petaling
Jaya, achieving integration in transportation network and making
Petaling Jaya friendlier to pedestrians and cyclists.
1. Create awareness amongst all concerned on what it takes to
create an environment conducive for pedestrians and cyclists
2. To engage all stakeholders on identifying critical areas for
implementation.
3. To formulate together the plans and road map for implementation
of an integrated transportation solutions focussing on the
sustainable modes of transportation.
