a great taster to the outdoors!! Our instructors will tailor each
session to suit your abilities. Plus teenagers can take part in many
of our activities without their parents. Woo hoo!

The nature of our activities means that accidents may
happen. However, our qualified team aims to keep the risks
low and the fun high!
Activtity rating
EASY - no prior experience required, not too energetic with
very little fitness required.
MODERATE - a good level of fitness required, you can take it
easy at the hard bits.
CHALLENGING - a very good level of fitness required, can
be technical at times.
All of our activities meet at the Arran Adventure centre
located at the rear of Auchrannie Spa Resort; please ensure
you arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to scheduled start
time.
Segway - EASY
We have Arran’s only fleet of Segway X2’s.
Hop on and enjoy the beautiful views of Glencloy as you take a
tour with our trained instructors.

Important notes:
Participants should be suitably dressed for the weather as
the session is solely outdoors and you may get muddy.
Sturdy footwear must be worn and waterproofs may be
required. Helmets are provided.
*Whilst the minimum age is around 10, a weight limit is
important as anyone outside the range will not be able to
operate the segway safely and may cause injury to
themselves or others. The limits are minimum 7 stone
(45kg) and max 19 stone (117kg).
Archery - EASY
Take aim and shoot! Our range is set in the beutiful Glen Cloy. If the
weather gets really bad (never on Arran) we can take cover inside our
games hall. You’ll be and expert bowman in no time. Bull’s eye!

Mountain Bike Hire - EASY TO
CHALLENGING
One of the best ways to see our beautiful island is by bike.
Visit stunning glens, quiet bays and take in sweeping vistas.
Our trek hard-tailed mountain bikes are available for age 6+.
Helmets and trail maps are included in the price.

Mountain Biking - EASY TO CHALLENGING
Prefer to be shown the way? Our instructors can take you on the very
best routes suited to your groups ages and abilities.These sessions are the
perfect introduction to off road mountain biking on Arran and include all
relevant coaching along the way.

Gorge Walking - MODERATE TO
CHALLENGING
Gorge walking involves climbing and swimming your way up a
river, taking in the stunning views on the way.
Once at the top, you will slide, swim and jump your way to the
bottom via waterfalls and natural pools. Exhilaratingly wet and wild!
