What is “Single Sign-On” access? Single Sign-On is a feature of the portal that allows you to create a single unique password that you can use to access not only but also your other applications (email, Blackboard, TCWeb, etc.) without having to use separate passwords to log into each application. No more struggling to remember and reset multiple passwords! How can I sign up? You will sign up by going to https:// mytouro.touro.edu/ and clicking on “First Time Users” to complete a one-time registration process. You will be asked to enter your personal information, review and accept the Terms of Use, create a unique password, and set security questions. The entire process should take about 10 minutes. What if I have questions or a problem? The system is very user-friendly. The account management system is available 24/7 on a self-service basis, allowing you to change your password and manage your account information wherever and whenever you like. You can solve some problems yourself, like resetting a forgotten password or requesting a password change, by correctly answering the security questions you created in setting up the account. How is it different from the Internet? is accessed via the Internet, but because it is private to authorized Touro users only, it is technically referred to as an intranet—a network within an organization.
