ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

The degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery of the University or an equivalent
medical qualification approved by the Senate; and
Qualifies for registration as a medical practitioner under the Malaysian Medical Act; and
At least one year of post-full registration clinical experience approved by the Senate; and
Satisfies the Entrance Evaluation by the relevant Department responsible for the candidate’s
programme of study (which may include previous clinical experience in the speciality, good
academic transcripts, referees’ recommendation, score in multiple-choice question or written
examination, interview and English language performance, satisfactory completion of a specified
period of Clinical Attachment, and other requirements recognised by the Faculty).
International applicants must possess at least a band 6 for IELTS or a score of 550 paper-based total,
a score of 213 for computer based total or a score of 80 for internet-based total for TOEFL.
Maximum age limit on 1 June 2017:
37 years for Master of Orthopaedic Surgery;
40 years for all other programmes.
Only applicants with Master of Medical Science in Clinical Pathology (MMedScClinPath) are
eligible to apply for program no. 22-26.
Note:
· Only applicants who possess a degree recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) as listed in the Second
Schedule Medical Act 1971 are eligible to apply. Please check the status of your qualification and form for the Annual
Practising Certificate (APC) in http://www.mmc.gov.my
- Multiple applications to different Clinical Master programmes and transfer for application between different programmes is
not permitted.
- Places for International candidates in all available Clinical Masters programmes are generally oversubscribed.

SYARAT KEMASUKAN:

1. Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perubatan dan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pembedahan dari Universiti atau kelayakan
perubatan setaraf dengannya yang diluluskan oleh Senat; dan
2. Layak untuk pendaftaran sebagai pengamal perubatan di bawah Akta Perubatan Malaysia; dan
3. Sekurang-kurangnya satu tahun pengalaman klinikal selepas pendaftaran sebagai pengamal perubatan
yang diluluskan oleh Senat; dan
4. Memuaskan Jabatan yang bertanggungjawab terhadap program pengajian calon dalam suatu Penilaian
Kemasukan yang diiktiraf oleh Fakulti (misalnya penilaian meliputi pengalaman klinikal terdahulu dalam
pengkhususan, transkrip akademik yang baik, perakuan perujuk peribadi, skor dalam Soalan Pelbagai
Pilihan atau peperiksaan bertulis/temu duga dan kemahiran Bahasa Inggeris, dan menyempurnakan dengan
memuaskan penempatan klinikal
jabatan).
5. Pemohon Antarabangsa dikehendaki memperolehi band 6 bagi IELTS atau skor sekurang-kurangnya 550
untuk jumlah berasaskan kertas, skor sebanyak 213 bagi jumlah berasaskan komputer atau skor sebanyak 80
bagi jumlah berasaskan internet bagi TOEFL.
6. Berumur tidak melebihi pada 1 Jun 2015: 37 tahun bagi Sarjana Surgeri Ortopedik/40 tahun bagi lainlain program.
7. Hanya pemohon dengan Ijazah Sarjana Sains Perubatan dalam Patologi Klinikal (MMedScClinPath)
dibenarkan memohon program no. 21 – 25.

· Hanya kelayakan yang diiktiraf oleh Majlis Perubatan Malaysia (MPM) seperti disenaraikan dalam Second Schedule Medical Act
1971 layak untuk mendaftar sebagai pengamal perubatan. Sila semak status kelayakan anda dan borang Perakuan Amalan
Tahunan (APC)/ melalui laman sesawang http://www.mmc.gov.my
· Pemohon tidak dibenarkan memohon lebih dari satu program atau membuat pertukaran ke program lain.
· Tempat yang disediakan untuk pemohon antarabangsa adalah terhad dan perlu memohon TPC sebelum menyertai kursus.
