IVAN’S PATIENT INSPIRED SOLUTION
Prior to Ultraflex bracing, Ivan wore solid AFOs
and then SMOs to address instability secondary
to diplegic spastic CP. Ivan’s therapist noted
that “The solid AFOs were too restrictive
and the SMOs alone never gave him enough
support.” Falls were frequent, especially when
walking on uneven surfaces. Now Ivan wears
