On behalf of Freestyle Skiing Ontario (FSO), and the Organizing Committee for the
Canada Post Ontario Freestyle Championships it is our pleasure to invite you to
attend a Single Moguls and Big Air competition at Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort Ontario,
January 31st & February 1st 2009.
The organizing committee will host the event in accordance with the CFSA Canadian
Series Rules and Procedures.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Competition shall be governed by the F.I.S. Freestyle General Rules & Regulations and policies & procedures of the
Canadian Freestyle Ski Association and is sanctioned by Canadian Freestyle Ski Association and organized by Freestyle
Skiing Ontario with the support of the Calabogie Peaks Resort.
DATE AND LOCATION
The event will take place on January 31st and February 1st 2009 at Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort. For Information on

Training will take place January 29th & 30th. Please see schedule below for more details.
ELIGIBILITY-ENTRY / QUOTAS
A total of 70 spots are available for the Mogul Competition.
A total of 100 spots are available for the Big Air Competition.
The age cut-off is 21 years of age, as of July 01, 2008.
REGISTRATION
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION is midnight, January 20th
Registration desk will be located at: Administration Offices, yellow building with red door.
Please complete the registration form on the last page of this invitation and send to the registrar by January 20th, 2009.
Please complete a Bio Sheet for each athlete and have it ready for submission when you pick up your bibs at the
Registration desk.
This will make the competition more funky for our participants and spectators.

ENTRY FEES
Entries will be accepted from all eligible competitors according to quotas established by FSO. The entry fee shall be
$40 for one event only and a maximum of $60 for two events.
Cancellation of event & refunds: If an event is cancelled, each athlete that is registered for that event will be refunded
$20.00. The maximum refund that will be paid to any one athlete (if more than one event is cancelled) is $40.00.
BIB DEPOSIT: There will be a $20.00 bib deposit requested upon pick up of bibs. Teams can submit a cheque for the
whole team.
LIABILITY
All athletes, officials and other members of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association who attend and participate in the event
shall do so at their own risk. The Organizing Committee, Sponsors and Calabogie Peaks Resort shall not be responsible
for any issue with the organisation or staging of the event.
ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Every competitor must have his/her own medical insurance. The Organizing Committee, sponsors and Calabogie Peaks
Resort decline any responsibility for accidents, damaged equipment and second and third party claims during the staging
of the event.
