Overall objective of the Course
The objectives of this course are to:








Acquire the knowledge and practical skill of manufacturing Gabba, Namda, Shawl, traditional Kashmiri rugs and crafts.
Manufacture marketable high quality products to attract the client and to meet user satisfaction.
Produce skilled workforce, focusing for local/domestic industry.
Enhance the capacity of existing semi-skilled manufacturers of the required products.
Empower the Matric or Middle with a certificate in Gabba, Namda & shawl Bafi level persons.
Development of a pool of skilled workers to meet increased market demand of Kashmiri products.
Poverty alleviation and improve living standards of people of AJ&K.
