Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. 734-793-1874 FOOD COMMODITIES The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in Michigan. TEFAP distributes surplus & government-provided food which is distributed on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Maplewood to low-income families and seniors. Register at Maplewood Office 734-793-1857. LIQUID NUTRITION Maplewood Senior Center is a liquid nutrition distribution site and the nutrition supplement is given out on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month. This program is designed for seniors who have a debilitating disorder or require supplemental food intake to meet their nutritional needs. A doctor’s prescription is needed.
