Nail Professional Of the Year 2014!
It's still sinking in that I've just won the Nail
Professional of the Year award! When I first
started out in the industry 8 years ago doing
mobile work, it was an award that I felt I could
only dream of winning. I started entering
competitions in 2009 to help me with
building my confidence and timings, I've
been addicted ever since!!! And to date,
I have won over 23 competition awards
including International Nail Art Champion and
UK Top Tech twice and many more. It's not
been the easiest of rides so far but the reality
is that if you work hard, practise, keep up with
education and have a passion for what you
do, then anything is
possible!
I now have my own salon & training academy
and 4 other techs that work alongside me,
I judge here in the UK and abroad, I'm
involved in research & development for
new products plus lots of other amazing
things. It's a fantastic industry to be involved
in & an amazing feeling to be recognised for
the work I have done and I hope that it will
encourage & inspire other techs to do the
same and realise they to can acheive
their dreams.

Secrets is a mixture of design gels for fast salon designs that can

The Secrets prism paints can be used for hand painted designs and
traditional one-stroke art techniques. These highly pigmented paints
can be used alone, or mixed, to maximise your colour range,
all in the twist action nozzle for a controlled extraction.
The Secrets powders have been grinded to a fine powder, and
heavily coated for continuity of colour that can be applied in thin
layers for fine detailed art. Creates intense colour for 3D but still
retains the strength for sculpting and tip extensions. The Secrets
effect powders are a blend of glitters with the correct balance of
polymer to allow light to reflect through to the chosen design base

1. Prep the natural nail by pushing back the cuticle,
etch lightly over the nail plate with a 180-grit Dura
file and dehydrate the nail with Nail Pure Plus.
Optional: For clients with weak, thin, natural nails
apply Balance Bond Non-Acid Primer to promote
long-lasting wear.
2. Apply a thin layer of Polish Pro Basecoat Plus,
capping over the free edge of the nail and cure for
2 minutes with a 36-Watt UV Lamp or 60 seconds
