NYS AOH CONVENTION

The NYS Board of the AOH will be holding their 2015 Convention on July 8 thru July 12 at the Long
Island Marriott Uniondale, NY 11553.
The packages are priced at a $200 for the full package and the a La carte rates are: $55 for the
Icebreaker on Wednesday, $75 for the Friday Night Awards dinner and $95 for the Installation Banquet.
The AOH Nassau County Board will be hosting a golf outing on July 8, 2015 at Lido Beach Golf
Course. More info to follow.
On July 9, 2015 , the Nassau County Convention Committee will be hosting a cruise departing from the
Freeport Nautical Mile. The cost is $50 per person, which includes transportation to and from the ship,
food, drink and entertainment.
On the convention website you can review the schedule, electronically registered and pay for packages.
To book a room please call the Long Island Marriott at 516-794-3800 and use the code “Ancient Order
of Hibernians” to enjoy the $159 rate. The rate is only good for rooms booked before June 17, 2015.
On July 11, 2015 at 12pm the order will be conducting the Shamrock and Major Degrees at the
Convention. All Brothers who have not already taken their degrees are required to do so as soon after
they join when possible. This is the perfect opportunity to complete this requirement at the NYS
Convention with your fellow Brothers from Divison 17 in attendance. Your fees for the degree
ceremony will paid by the Divison. Financial Secretary William Holtmeyer will be contacting all the
Brothers without their degrees so please make your plans to attend.
We are also in need of volunteers to help our County conduct this convention. We
need some of our Brothers to step up so please contact me with your availability.
