Who is Willy Haze?
These days you rarely encounter artists with genuine lyrical superiority and
charisma. In search of fame and money, many have forgotten the true
meaning of Hip Hop.
But not Willy Haze.
Born Irving Maurice Millard, Jr., in Washington, D.C., Willy Haze
always knew he had talent as a lyricist. At age twelve, Haze began
competing in freestyle battles and open mic competitions, earning his
stripes in the streets. In 1995, Willy Haze moved to Alpharetta, GA a
suburb of Atlanta, GA. There he quickly began to develop a unique
style and swag of his own. Haze is blunt, comical, uplifting, and
motivational. He showcases an array of controversial topics, real life
experiences, and versatile lyrics.
Willy Haze draws inspiration from his real life experiences and
challenging struggles in life. His
experiences have molded him into the
strong man, dedicated son, and proud
father he is today.
Rocking live shows, freestyle battles,
and garnering radio play all over the
Southeast, Willy Haze has built an
impressive fan base.
His highly anticipated
third mix-tape, ‘The
North Side Takeover,’ featuring the current club
banger “PURPLE,” is set for release this summer.
Dedicated to achieving his dreams and inspiring others
to do the same, Willy Haze sends a strong message to
his fans: “You must work hard for anything you want
or feel is worth having, even if you’re from the burbs.”
