Racing Rules Of Auctioning
Silent Auction
Silent auction items are on display tables inside the tent.
Each item has an accompanying bid sheet. Bid as often as
you like by entering your bid number and the amount you
wish to offer. All new bids must be higher than the previous
bid by at least the minimum raise indicated at the top of the
bid sheet. Tables will close at 7:45pm. Each item will go to
the highest bidder at that time. That high bidder will be
considered the purchaser and the amount bid is considered
a binding agreement to purchase at that price. Table
captains will be stationed at each table and have the right to
settle any disputes that may arise. That decision will be
final. All winning bids must be settled before the end of the
night by cash, check or credit card. You will be given your
item upon check out at the end of the evening.
Live Auction
All bidding must be done with your assigned bidding number
found on the back of the auction book given at check in.
The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be
the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders,
the auctioneer shall have the absolute and sole discretion to
determine the successful bidder, and the auctioneer’s
decision shall be final and binding.
All sales are final. Full payment must be received the night
of the auction by check, cash, MasterCard, VISA, American
Express, or Discover. If one person bids for a group
(several people willing to share an item), that person is
required to pay the total amount of the bid and will be
charged following the final gavel. That person is then
responsible for collecting money from the group.

Chubby Bunny
Can you say it fast? How about with a mouth full of
marshmallows? Chubby Bunny is a Pleon tradition of ole’ and
we are rolling it out in honor of Great Night!
How it works:
1. Purchase a $10 Chubby Bunny ticket to play
2. Prepare yourself for the contest which will begin at
approximately 8:05pm;
3. Pleon Commodore Kyle Heffrin will call all
participants to the stage;
4. Place the first marshmallow in your mouth and say it
loud: “Chubby Bunny!”
5. Commodore Kyle will proceed down the line of
contestants, with each pass each contestant gets
another marshmallow;
6. The contestant who can clearly say “Chubby Bunny”
with the most marshmallows in his or her mouth is
the winner!
