This facility will increase significantly the research and development possibilities within
the faculty. Lead by renowned research experts, and with the support of the wider sport
research community (with expertise in fields
including Olympic preparation, America’s
Cup), this research center will meet the rigorous demands of high performance athletes
and of manufacturers of sports equipment
and materials. In addition, strong scientific
links with the faculty of medicine of Marseille
can also be exploited for projects involving
health issues in sport.
To meet this objective, it will strenghten the
links it has already forged with some leaders
in commercial and industrial sectors such as
Decathlon, Nike, Adidas, Eurocopter, EADS.

• « From body to sport » with Oxylane, second sport dispenser in the world
• « Automotive motion lab » with Peugeot
Sport Automobile.

with a prestigious institution:
• « Society, sport and management » with
the Institute of Political Sciences
Scientific qualifications recognized by
industry and high level sports
The Technosport facility, a technology center
dedicated to sport and human movement, will
extend the excellence of the research conducted at the faculty of sport sciences.
Our services
Construction of new hightech infrastructure
• Area: 3,000 m² indoor and 21,000 m²
outdoor space.
• Applications:
• Performance optimization (exercise
physiology, biomechanics, motor
control).
• Engineering and design of sport equipments.
• Top-level performance management.
• Individual athlete training, team training,
provision of sports facilities, biomechanical tests, physiological tests, neuroscience
studies, managerial and environmental
studies and coaching. These services can
be segmented and athlete can assess its
equipment.
• Design, development of sports equipment,
mechanical and ergonomic analysis.
• Training in scientific and technical methods
of data capture and motion analysis.
• Design and development of dedicated research platforms similar to Technosport.
