Discover and experience the fantastic world of authentic, historic and traditional Haarlem. The world-famous city of Haarlem still has its unique character. It also still has all the craftsmanship, skill and especially the hospitality of the “past”. This makes Haarlem one of the best-preserved city centres in the Amsterdam Metropole region. Here is Rein’s select ion of the best studios and shops in the medieval heart of Haarlem, where shopkeepers often still leave sweets or liquorice on their counters for both young and old. “CANDLELIGHT CANDLE STUDIO” at Kleine Houtstraat 6. 3 “VAN DER LINDEN SHOES” in de Kleine Houtstraat 8. These original and often small-scale enterprises form ‘The Soul of Haarlem’. They are still the driving force behind the economy of the city centre. A city where you can spend days looking for everyday things, for unique products, for those special items that you have been wanting for so long, but especially because it is so much fun. 4 You can explore Haarlem on foot, by bicycle or – as a special treat – on a Segway! SegTours gladly organises guided THOENenTHANS Segway tours. For more information on this, please visitwww.segtours.nl or call +316-54791816. THE VERY BEST ROUTES THROUGH AUTHENTIC, HISTORIC AND TRADITIONAL CITY CENTRES AUTHENTICCITY Please enjoy the unique elements of this wonderful city that make Haarlem typically Haarlem. 5 Rein ROUTE TO THE ‘SOUL OF HAARLEM’ All businesses are numbered.
